I don't think its particularly telling, I think its a suitably vague and non committal answer. What else is he going to say immediately after seeing his team go up?

 

I'm sure we'll all be happy when Flynny pitches up later in the week.

Sorry mate, what the hell did you expect him to say?? He has just got a bunch of players promoted on the lowest budget in this crappy division, he and they deserve a big night out and chance to celebrate. I know we are keen to have our manager in place but a bit of perspective please - it is probably the biggest day in Morecombe's history

 

Maybe he doesn't know? Time will tell whether he comes or not, but I'd imagine he'll be having a long hard think tonight

 

My point was that he gave a very vague answer initially, in that his only interest was celebrating the promotion. But then he was very quick and adamant that nothing was agreed between us. I think he was telling the truth there.

 

Im ITK and he will be.

 

I'm not saying you're wrong. All I'm saying is, the reality of a promotion will sink in over the coming hours and days and may lead to a rethink on whatever has been or was agreed.

Adams fully knew there was a chance they would go up. His mind was made up weeks ago. All comes down to £££ for his wallet and playing budget. They cant compete either way.

Plus he knows half his team is on its way. Massive rebuild and a struggle next season.

 

Or Parkinson....we are in a results business. They scored alot this season. Im ok if we get results.

 

I remember CR7 quizzed immediately after Man U won CL in 2008. He said 'I stay'....and that he did for another 12 months. A pretty easy thing to say if you intend too

 

To be honest the best thing Ryan could do now, as he has already told us the deal is done, is just post a quick message tomorrow advising which day the announcement will be made. Whether it is Wednesday, Thursday or Friday then doesnt really matter and the speculation will relax somewhat.
Interesting thing will be if Ryan is not in a position to do this, that would lead to more questions as to how 'done' the deal really is - but I genuinely dont think this is the case as our retained list and prospect have both already had major input from the new man and his team.

Has he definitely said the deal is done? I haven't heard him say it, nor have I seen a quote of him saying it.

Plus, as we found out in the prem, it's harder to stay up than get up when your attendances are half that of your weaker opponents

 

I don’t agree, and for the record I actually don’t mind Parker at all, but this article is just nothing. Speculating about our future manager is one thing. Speculating on who the speculated manager might sign is just naff.
