    in all honesty, I thought NKP had a good game against us on the weekend. Certainly couldn't do worse than our current two centre backs.

    Until he loses three or four on the spin, then you'll be calling for his head. Given the league we're in, it's no wonder the choices are so uninspiring. I'll give it to November before a " soon to be out" topic appears.

    I won't be calling for his head. I actually believe in giving managers time and thought it ridiculous we sacked Bowyer - given the mess he inherited

    I think this is where I'm at as well. Tricky one because Adams looks like the best choice from the realistic options, but the wording of yesterday's statement suggested the replacement was a done deal. I can't imagine that Adams would walk out on the eve of a play off campaign so it seems risky to wait and see how Morecambe's play off campaign goes. If it is Adams then there must have been some sort of indication given Sparks seems confident of getting his man.

    Yeah, I think I've misread the statement from Bradford City - I thought it was a done deal.

    I guess it wasn't, I guess it was the target that was finalised rather than the actual contract situation.

    I'm pretty sure we've got a verbal agreement, because my goodness, can you imagine if he turns us down? :joy:
