    His replacement was first announced (but never named of course) by JR in July at the online fan's forum. We've been waiting since then to find out who is to be his replacement with only one further snippet of information having been provided. In any event, it's unlikely to have any material impact on this season unless it is accompanied with the club being sold as well. What's another few months of waiting in the bigger scheme of things at VP?

    Probably won't have an impact on this season Mr Rhodes has stamped his authority on a no higher than mid table finish but let's get someone in early enough and hit the ground running for next season
    It's hard enough to get out of this terrible league without self imposed restrictions and dithering over the most important appointment for many a year

    Now there's a question ;)

    My own view is that in JR's head, he's lined up as in Austin Samuels. He's here, he has potential but needs more game time. But in JR's boss's head, I suspect he's more akin to Charles Wood. Still in the academy and he has yet to make the step-up to the first team!

    But that's another season wasted fans won't take too kindly to all this uncertainty and settling for mid table before a ball has been kicked in anger
    Let's get it sorted announced ASAP and let the new person get on with getting us up the pyramid

    It could be a damp squib, but if it’s a perceived positive announcement it might ignite some long missed hope and belief in the fans which can only do good.

    I'm guessing it will be Sparks. Rhodes has groomed him.

    Slightly off topic but I notice Dave Whelan has been introduced into the Bradford hall of fame. Now I know he helped his pal Ken but he hasn't even put a dime into City. Are we such an unattractive club that even wealthy Bradfordians don't want to invest in us?

    Dave Whelan would never classify himself as a Bradfordian. Although actually born in Bradford he was raised in Wigan.

    The Rhodes interview read to me as though the man was due to come in and then we got the announcement again about no fans for at least this year and Rhodes was asked to hang on due to the uncertainty.
    It could be as someone said we are waiting someone to work their notice anyway (Baldwin) but I would expect he has a period of notice as a former CEO to work after he leaves? Could be next summer for him? And would we really approach him when he’d just got the Efl job and discuss it with him? As Rhodes said we had been in talks?

    it points to Sparks for me. Inexperienced so Rupp isn’t quite sure how he would deal with covid on his own without Rhodes so has asked Rhodes to hang fire?

    Nothing to disagree with there
    Anyone expecting Mr Baldwin or Mr Jenkins is going to be very disappointed both are far more qualified than Mr Rhodes to see us through the pandemic so what other reason does Mr Rupp want him to hang on for
