    So our two owners have had a good 48hours or so to plan a reaction to our down turn since jan(some and i agree ,long before this).so is everyone clearer now?
    So much rubbish and negativity spouted all over the place it seems like were on verge of going bust or relagation.
    Like i said previously you cant believe everything your read or hear..
    No1:will grayson stay:my personal oppinion and what i have been privvy to regarding this i made clear from earliet this week is that no he wont because what he is seeking is abit too much at this moment in time.so regarding other posters etc saying hes been giving this super fandango budget bla bla is all fantasy AGAIN.
    No 2 regarding take over rumours:nothing happening please move along.
    No 3 admiiting various mistakes(took some balls to do that).
    No 4 pitch renovation :its happening and not just a bodge job people were stating.
    No4:eek:ur stock for sighning and looking after raw talent(youngsters,quite abit gets spent on this side)is starting to take shape too.
    In a nut shell things are getting better and we all look forward to a very interesting summer!.

    If all true then I can look forward to a coach arriving and a manager leaving, just like they said right at the start, the SmC sacking & Grayson appt is looking absolutely pointless.

    'Things are getting better', really?...

    At the moment we are stuck in limbo with a squad nowhere near good enough to be anything other than mid table next season. Rupp stated last night that we can only spend what we earn, which will be even less than last summer, unless we sell our only half decent forward on the books.
    We have a manager out of contract next week.

    It may well get better, but unless you work for the club, and are completely in the know, why do you think things are geting better?
    The only thing I can see getting better at the moment is the pitch

    We all have oppinions dont we incase life would be boring.
    Mr mc is no more,mr grayson would have still ben here if he acceppted his 18month deal but he opted for a short term deal not us(bradford city).so you may be right that after this weekend we will be seeking a new man.
    (No i dont think it will be rosler before this rumour starts).

    It's not getting better until we know crowds and therefore funds will be higher.

    If the club are smart, they'll make a couple of marquee signings and drop the price to 199 for the whole of July.

    Next season is shaping up to be an absolute disaster.

    Salvage operation has to begin NOW.

    It’s obvious why he was aappointed isn’t it he has a proven record of success he was appointed to try and turn the season around

    Regarding manager this is all ready explained to death.been positive is a mind set that we all need at this moment in time.on and off the pitch.budgets can be some times too easily made as an excuse for failure(im certain our playing budget will be very competative indeed without putting huge strains on our self sustainable club.many many worse clubs budget wise and debt wise in league 1 to say the least.
    I have repeated before its not the size of the budget its how you spend it and people all ready have held up there hands and said mistakes have been made sorry.
    So lets look to the future instead of backwards.

    All well and good, but just to be clear then, we have been hoodwinked with the 3 year plan, Grayson was never a long term option without immediate promotion and Rahic will be continuing to get involved with first team matters?

    But what I don't get is why Grayson (with all his managerial skills, ability, contacts, relationship with MCCall et. etc.) was unable to see from the outset that it wasn't ever going to happen? In which case, why bother in the first place?

    Strange comment?why do you want crowds to be higher?we knew sales would drop off due to a bad 2018 and people just losing interest(not got the real bantams blood like we have).
    The figure city were seeking was hovering around the 14k mark .we are only around 1200 short of that and we confidently expect it to hit that my the start of the season.we are bradford city not manchester city we do know what our hard core base is and the figure above will have been used to draw up potential budgets etc.nothing to worry about.

    Err, what?

    Bigger crowds = more ticket sales.

    That is the crucial bottom line for ANY business.

    If we're running the club like a business, we need to be building on our customer base, not napping and letting them slip away. No business EVER wants less customers, ever, ever, ever. Less customers = failure.

    I'm confused. You say the manager situation has been done to death. You stated earlier that you dont think Grayson will stay, so who do you reckon we are appointing then to make things better.

    I am happy with self sustainablity and a further development of younger players. I would like to see investment in scouting for both the development squad and first team.
    This season we need to use the loan market and free transfer system wisely and then get back to developing that team spirit and togetherness that can take you far. As the Op says money isn’t everything

    With regards to No1....i don't really see that as a deal breaker SYB. At the end of the day the word is "negotiation". Common ground COULD be found.

    The owners have already said they have a plan, that was pointed out when they first came. This season, like they said, hasn't gone as "planned". Hopefully Grayson will be part of this plan......if it takes a couple of seasons i can live with that.
