No you can go first seen as though you’re from Keighley.

The driving in that area is appalling. Red traffic lights are optional to some of the residents, police are terrified of upsetting them.

Wonder if said local residents drive / react like that when their fellow community members are leaving mosques after Friday prayers?

    I would confidently suggest no.

I am not from Keighley. So on you trot for the mass castration you ask for. :joy:

As a brown person myself, i would confidently suggest yes.

Please don't try and make out brown people or muslims hate white people. Not true at all. A-holes act like A-holes to everyone..
As well not sure if you assumed the criminals in this incident were brown, they actually were white.

The problem is not from fans driving away from VP, it’s the local residents and other drivers trying to drive from Queens Road onto Midland are against the flow of fans and traffic.
An easy option is to block access from Queens Road onto Midland Road 15mins before the end of the match and make Midland Road one way from VP towards Queens Road for 30mins after the final whistle.
The road behind the Kop should also be closed until all fans have dispersed. Today there were several cars driven by people who had clearly not been to the game trying to get through hoardes of fans straight after the game. Ridiculous

Doesn't really matter what you think the problem is. If the police get involved their will be no nuance involved. They will go for the easy option that takes as little effort and paperwork as possible, and that is what I suggested so they would start there. It would take little effort to alter the parking restrictions, whereas to close roads takes paperwork and costs.

The easiest ways to stop it is for people to walk on the pavements provided

I saw the incident briefly it’s another from a catalogue of similar happenings. There is very little police presence in the area at the end of matches. Nothing excuses this but pedestrian should still remember they are walking in the middle od a road

How come when the likes of Stockport and Grimsby come to town the police can close midland road without a thought and make fans walk miles around to get to where they want yet on a match day with lack of away fans the local reprobates can drive at ridiculous speeds up and down midland road at full time.

There’s plenty of police presence on Midland Road but it’s all at the away end exits

From the description I would suggest they don't live in Manningham

It doesn’t help when cars are parked on Midland Road pavements. Estate sawmill and Council-tip area.

Car are not parked on the pavements apart from the small areas near the tip and sawmill entrances but there’s plenty of room behind for pedestrians to walk.

These ongoing poor/dangerous/deliberate driving issues in and around the ground were one of a few factors that led to my kids not wanting to go to matches anymore. Just doesn't feel safe in and around the ground. We don't see this behaviour at either Bradford Ice Rink (centre of Bradford) or at Planet Ice (next to Elland Road) for ice hockey. Begs the question - is it the fans or the local community?.

There is a possibility that the people in the car had attended the match! Surely if the registration of the car was recorded, the police should at least identify the owner and question them?

Parking has always been a problem around the ground and further restrictions could well put off some hesitant fans. I don't know what the answer is but it will only get worse if/when City move up the Leagues.

Accident waiting to happen. Road closures won't happen, the council do not want the stadium there and will do nothing in the hope of forcing the club to move to their beloved Odsal wonder stadium.
Did the road priority's not change during the summer giving right of way to pedestrians , cyclists and horse riders ahead of motor vehicles. I do not walk this way , i head down Manningham lane towards town. Most match days you can not walk down the right hand pavement for cars parked on it , in front of the shops. Something the authorities said they were clamping down, yet to see a traffic warden or police officer, enforcing this.
The standard of driving on the roads in Bradford , is nothing short of a disgrace.

There were a lot of Yellow Parking notices on cars after the match on Valley Parade itself.

I walk on Bowland Street/Lumb Lane/Gracechurch Street up to White Abbey Road those three streets have so many vehicles parked across the pavement, that you are often forced to walk on the road.
