Funny enough, I’m very proud to have taken delivery of, and tapped the very first cask ale in Estonia, which happens to be Jaipur. My new bar opens on Monday, and I’m looking forward to wowing the locals with “warm, flat beer”. Absolutely confident it’ll be a great success.

No match yesterday, but I tapped this one at my bar. Thornbridge Sequoia 4.5% amber ale. Very nice. Sold a cask out both Friday and Saturday,

I’ve been looking after the baby since kick off until now, cos the Mrs was out.
She brought me this back. Local lager. Upside down can cos it’s unfiltered and encouraging you to invert before drinking.

Horror of horrors, I had no beer this evening. Had to pair my Bhuna with some old French stuff. Worked good. Good mood eclipses extravagance when we win 3-0.

I'm opening a new bar here in Tallinn. Been in the process a long long time, but trying to find builders who can build within my budget, on top of trying to find actual builders, has made it a headache. I thought the corner had turned, and with that in mind, I made myself a vow that the next alcoholic drink I'd have, would be in the new place when it opens. That was TWO MONTHS ago! I've stuck to it, and tbh feel great (not to mention lost 4kg). Really don't want to think what the stress of this whole project would be like with a few hangovers thrown in. At this point in time, looking like it's going to be another two weeks before I can take that pint. It will taste especially sweet, as we'll be the first bar ever in Estonia to serve cask ale. It's the thought of that, which is preventing me from becoming teetotal 100%! In the meantime, keep posting nice pics of beer, and I'll taste and cheers you virtually

Back from visiting family and just opened this little beauty, a mini cask of Thornbridge Jaipur IPA 5.9%, some for tonight and some to 'celebrate / drown my sorrows' with tomorrow.

Today's debacle required something strong: a double IPA from one of Quebec's long-standing craft breweries, McAuslan:

No game today, so I’ll drink this pint and eat the crisps before heading home. Just tapped this morning, Thornbridge Lord Marples. Classic 4% English bitter. We had Jaipur on cask last night, and people were falling over

Having had to miss travelling to Stevenage today, as COVID finally got me this week, I had to make do with watching today's match on iFollow.
To celebrate the win, for this evening, I have a couple of Belgian bottle conditioned ales lined up:
1) Brouwerij Van Steenberge Bornem Dubbel 7.2%; and
2) Brouwerij Van Steenberge Bornem Tripel 9%.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...Wakefield Bantam, CRASS and Bigrod like this. -

Crisis situation at RCB Towers: only one tin -- of a Nicaraguan lager -- in the house. Horrors! Must go out shopping now, before supper, and remedy that situation!
