    Having had to miss travelling to Stevenage today, as COVID finally got me this week, I had to make do with watching today's match on iFollow.

    To celebrate the win, for this evening, I have a couple of Belgian bottle conditioned ales lined up:
    1) Brouwerij Van Steenberge Bornem Dubbel 7.2%; and
    2) Brouwerij Van Steenberge Bornem Tripel 9%.

    I was showing some of my students some YouTube video , they thought it was hysterical. But when I told them the colour change was due to a colored plastic strip under the screen they thought I’d lost my mind.

    Went to the media museum a few years ago with the kids. They have a vintage video games section including Space Invaders and Defender. Kids absolutely wet themselves when I told them they were 'state of the art' in my day!!

    Given the strength and description, I thought that "Lori" (meaning "nonsense" and the like) was rather appropriate for the brewery's name. But I see it is actually the Sori brewery. Oh well.

    Crisis situation at RCB Towers: only one tin -- of a Nicaraguan lager -- in the house. Horrors! Must go out shopping now, before supper, and remedy that situation!

    Got back home, from tonight's match, at 22:01, so got time for a few beers.

    As we played like our players had two left feet, we failed to do a proper job on Walsall and we were anything but sure shots, I've lined up an appropriate selection:

    Starting with: Track Brewery (Manchester) Two Left Feet Pale Ale 5.0%
    Followed By: St Austell (Cornwall) Proper Job IPA 5.5%
    And Finally: Sureshot Brewery (Manchester) Hairstyle Of The Gods IPA 6.7%

    I was going to say you'll need them all after that match...

    I can't even drown my sorrows now as I have to go to the bigger city down the road and impersonate a guitarist for a few hours. But there'll be a choice of stuff awaiting my return: Guinness, Ottakringer, that Nicaraguan lager is still here...
