    The landlord in the FC is usually good, but I bet the Boltmeker you had wasnt a patch on the one Thanos serves in the Ling Bob.

    At a provincial town in South Estonia today. Most exotic offering from the shop was this. 99 cents a can.

    Spoilt for choice today. It's a double celebration: our win, and the 31st anniversary of the restoration of Estonian independence. So, the fish & chips will be accompanied by- a very nice champagne-style local (Henry of Pelham) pink bubbly:

    Plaka on Crete. Unfortunately I couldn't get all the way out onto the terrace and keep the signal. The island in view is Spinalonga where they used to send their lepers. Worse places to be a leper I guess! Been here 9 days now but moving on to Chania tomorrow. Could easily stay here longer.
