Agree. Some fans really pissed me off last night when we played it out from the back and the defence had possession with their "gerrit forrad" shouts. Have they not seen what happens this season when we smash it long?

And agree about Butterfield too. They had two men around him at all times which is why Payne should have some on for Anderson. They couldn't double mark Payne and Butterfield at the same time.

Wrap up well guys/gals and get down to Valley Parade and give your lungs a bit of a work out, 3 points tonight would give the team a massive boost going froward to Oxford, we are the under dogs tonight at home, but as under dogs we need to be snapping at Luton heels in their faces and be giving Luton a hard time.

 

The defence needs binning at the end of the season. They are just dreadful.

 

There wasn’t much in it, but Luton were never in danger. Horrible side - but we need more of that about us.

 

Not moaning just passing an honest opinion, I thought the first half was men Vs boys there movement was a joy to watch, second half we improved and should have had a penalty, but overall until the last 10 or so minutes I thought Luton had done a very professional job on us, Oxford becomes an even bigger game come Saturday.

 

Subs were a joke too. How our best player is sat on the bench when we're losing is beyond me, especially when that donkey Omari Patrick gets game time.

This is what happens when you've pre-rated player long before the game has started.

Anyone with a sense of basic fairness will have noted Chicksen did NOT have a bad game, far from it. Did he misplace a single pass in the first half? On the ball, Chicksen was very good, playing several quality passes inside to the midfield area - off the ball, he was getting pelters from the Midland Road stand at times, and possibly rightfully so - but when Luton were pushing three men up front at times, AND wingers down the sidelines, it was actually O'Brien and Butterfield that let us down on the left wing.

I think you've a really, really poor judgement call, and the fact you'll probably now tell other Chicksen was dreadful is a bit embarrassing for you.

 

Wimbledon had relegation nailed on a couple of weeks ago. Now they have a chance (slim maybe) of survival. I guess they haven't given up?

 

If points were given for being the most pedestrian we would be top of the league...

The bare minimum I would have expected was to haul off the pedestrian Anderson and go for it with an attack-minded player. Possibly that Payne lad who's scored a few for us this season?

 

You were a more physical side and certainly more snide and street wise. I don’t mean it as a dig. It’s a crucial ingredient at this level and the fact that we lack it is one of the reasons we’re down there.

 

Chickson is very very poor, Here is a summary of his play,

Receive ball wide and push forward,
Pass backwards
receive ball back
Pass sideways
receive ball back
pass backwards

Lose possession or pass to the opposition.

 

I suppose the anomaly in opinions can be explained by reference to those actually watching the game versus those that choose to merely navigate to the BBC Football website.
