Yes I did believe we would get something. Why not?

We got an excellent win on Saturday and Luton dropped points.

It's the business end of the season and we're not in the position to drop 3 points at home.

Massive pressure going into Saturday now and we need to win or would you disagree with that?

See if we got something out of yesterday's game then all the pressure would of been on Oxford.

Yesterday, was poor because we couldn't shoot on target! That's lame.

Agree. Some fans really pissed me off last night when we played it out from the back and the defence had possession with their "gerrit forrad" shouts. Have they not seen what happens this season when we smash it long?

And agree about Butterfield too. They had two men around him at all times which is why Payne should have some on for Anderson. They couldn't double mark Payne and Butterfield at the same time.

The other side of that arguement @Ashton@Ashton is Luton are on cruise control to get an auto spot, and we are fighting relegation, like it or not they did what they had to do to secure the 3 points.
Frustrating mate without doubt but they aren't top of the league and unbeaten in 6 months for being a soft side.

1st half I thought Luton were by far the best side I've seen all season. There formation and structure of the team was fantastic and really interesting to watch. Got battered for 20 mins but got back slowly into the game.
2nd half I thought we were the better side but lacked the final ball and enough efforts on goal. We worked the ball well but never have enough moved from the front 2, infact at one point they were almost hiding behind the back 2 and the ball was lost due to no outlet. Anderson was dead on his feet thought he should have been subbed after 60 minutes for possibly Payne or Patrick to give us something different. Again we just didn't have enough upfront to really create any problems.

THAT highlights our problem, right there, Dave. Lutons play controlled ours, and placed us exactly where they wanted us to be. Worryingly, that has occurred so many times this season, against lesser teams than Luton. Further proof, if any was needed, that our Summer recruitment was not so much poor - But far from complete, with training to equal it. :(

I don’t think you can play both Payne and Butterfield together the team looks better balanced the last two matches.I would have brought him on instead of Clarke last night although Clarke almost scored with his first touch

No Butterfield's trouble was he was stuck out on the left. This is because Chicksen is so shi&e and can't be counted on.

Butterfield needs to be more in the centre as a 10.

we sit inline with the position the scorer hit it from so maybe not the best angle but thought it was defensively poor and no fault of O'Donnell.

That's a bit of an exaggeration mate, let's say he just about got his head to that driven cross and almost hit the corner flag :(.

It doesn't change to the validity of my point? No different than when Sunderland behaved in the same manner...fans seemed to care then.

Well you can berate Luton and the Town as much as you want, I'd be delighted to be in their position upsetting the opposition fans for the tactics they used.

Wright and Akpan had Collins and Hopkin managing them. Let that sink in and looks at Akpan now already under Bowyer.

L'OB looks shattered but needs to play.

Anderson was shocking last night and how he stayed on for 90 mins is beyond me but I understand why he starts. For me it would be a him or Wright starting but we should of brought Payne on yesterday.

    Billy Clarke pointless as!

This reminds me of the old Gerrard / Lampard argument for England.
I say balderdash ............. It's where you play them, and in what role that makes a difference. :)
