    That’s BS!
What you’re saying is you can’t / won’t travel to Gillingham but you’d like a Harrogate ticket please!
It doesn’t work like that, sorry.

    This is BS too.
We don’t want a Nando’s style reward system when you save up your points for a big reward then start at the bottom again.
What if Harrogate game is followed by Salford, you wouldn’t then get a ticket for both.
    Nonsense idea!

On twitter pretty much every post is saying it should be based on away games attended. Because that is the whole point of this scheme no matter how the scheme is worded. I've no problem with what Sparks has done in trying to raise more revenue off the back of it as potential revenue streams are few in number but in asking fans opinion he's pretty much admitting it will change to being based pretty much solely on away games attended.

If it's a scheme that rewards financial commitment, I'd like points for my annual ifollow subscription. It's a season ticket in all but name. I also catch a couple of games a year and buy stuff from the shop. I have mentioned this in the survey. Any other overseas subscribers feel the same?

Exactly, the club might as well revert back to the only away priority scheme and just charge £100 each to the first 1000.
The scheme we have currently works just fine the way it is. Fans know where they stand and what they need to do to build up points.
There’s an acceptance from those that don’t regularly travel away that they will most likely miss out.
Keep it as it is is my opinion

BS or not Loyal I believe as Storck says that will be the way the club will sell the scheme, I'm with you it should be about fans supporting the team, the likes of purchasing a pre match meat or buying merchandise from the club shop (although no doubt they bring in good revenue to the club) are secondary IMO to actually turning up to support the team.

How to make it fair for the vast majority? The more away games you attend in a season the better chance you have acquiring more away tickets. I've missed a fair few away games this season and as such have missed out on one or two away games I wanted to go to. No complaints from me, this whole adding points for merchandise and the like just makes it more complicated than it should be

Up to a point yes it does, but as a City fan you shouldn't have to check the likes of your home games attended and if they aren't correct go cap in hand to the ticket office to show proof of you attending, both me and the grandson have the Grimsby game missing I really cant be arsed pleading my case, that needs sorting first you go to some of our fellow league two clubs and they are light years in front of us with regards scanning ECT.

Imagine if you go as a group and 1 person buys 6 pints at the bar.
Does he/she have to then scan each season ticket to get points added?
Same with a parent buying a shirt for themselves and 3 kids. Does the parent get all the points from 4 shirt sales.
The whole idea is a joke and unmanageable

Agreed, there should be no additional 20 points added for attending a home game. The 200 points for buying a season ticket are also irrelevant.

They are completely over complicating it. I don't go to Valley Parade to acquire loyalty points. Neither do I purchase shirts for my lad with the intention of adding points to scheme. I go to away games when circumstances dictate as I enjoy the experience of watching football at different grounds. But I also understand that like anything in life there will come a time when demand outstrips supply. And that there are fans who follow this club thorough thick and thin all over the country. Forget sob stories and the 'well I went to Hereford away in 1981', fans who support this club week in week out deserve first dibs on tickets. Anything else is just irrelevant noise.

    I've completed the survey.

    My view:
    1) The existing scheme should be focused on away matches only, with points for away matches purchased being the main way of earning points. However, I'm not totally against awarding some points for having a season ticket; and
    2) If the Club wants a broader loyalty/purchase rewards scheme, then run it as a separate scheme.

They clearly haven’t got the existing scheme correct if the number of people on here who are missing home points is anything to go by.

Make sure that’s correct before you start bringing in new ones.

Agreed, have a separate Nando’s style rewards scheme where purchases build up rewards that can be redeemed.
This needs to be completely independent of the away ticket loyalty scheme.

I did a bit of investigating into this, with assistance from Mick Lamb.

It seems that some points are going on to the system, without showing up on the purchase history.

On the face of it I had 40 missing points from two home matches. However, Mick Lamb was able to produce a screen print from the Club's system to show that I had been given the points, even though the purchase history shows otherwise. So, I investigated further and found that I had 40 points more than the purchase history indicated.

So, it seems my points total is correct, even though the purchase history shows missing home points.

    sorry I’ll be clearer.
Points would drop if spent on discount, if you want to save them for priority then you could without losing them.

    not really.

you just get points for what you already spend. It wouldn’t encourage me to spend extra. It just expands the scheme.
