Well it's about the same price as the priority card from season and it gives you the points of 10 away games so puts you up the queue but at least you get a scarf for your money.

 

It probably won’t put many people up the queue because fans currently with highest points will probably also join it to keep them top.

 

I know you seem to have the impression you are in some kind of elite club, but even the tickets to Harrogate lasted until season ticket sale.

 

I don’t go to that many away games these days, not because I can’t because it’s crappy league 2 football and I don’t want to drive 3 hours to various sheds around the country. That said I still got a Harrogate ticket without being in a band. If anyone wastes money just to get loyalty points more fool them, we’re Bradford city not man United those we do sell out aren’t instant no matter the distance.

 

Very possibly the same fans who bought a priority ticket whilst attending away games when they have been available.

True but I’ve been to minimal games since it started and bought no membership, as long as you have a season ticket you’ll get to most comfortably. Especially if we get promoted.

 

Have they done a press release for this yet ?

 

This does push the Loyalty Points scheme to more of a cash grab than a rewarding of loyalty for attending games.

You would spend £35 for attending a regular away game with ticket and travel and that would earn you 10 points. Buy a membership and not attend any away games and bang, you have the same loyalty points to someone who has been to half the away games but doesn't want to pay £35 for a scarf and access to the kit early and the women's games.

 

As I've posted before IMO this is just the tip of the iceberg with regards Ryan making our club self sufficient.

 

Points for pies next

 

They will time your departure from the ground. More points for those who stay to the end when we get battered 5 - 0, so they can tell us how they have never left a game early. I'm sure Loyalbantam is one of those.

 

Away games don't generate the club anywhere near the revenue that home matches, retail from the club shop or attending the non-football events at VP do.
So why give someone loads of points for travelling to Crawley and pumping money into that clubs coffers.
Personally I'd like it if I'm rewarded for buying a pie and a pint on match day or if I get something from the club shop. These actions support BCFC and should be rewarded as such.
