I purchased a number of £10 child tickets last season from the ticket office which I didn't need to show my season ticket for.
Now I wish I had because I would have scored more points.
Something to bear in mind for next season

I don't think you would have got more points for the child. The points would be awarded to the child's account. I took my daughter to a game and didn't get any more points allocated.

Correct - I had the same question which I emailed the ticket office with. They answered pretty much exactly as you have - although reset their passwords for me.
The awkward thing is we’ve all got different numbers of points so potentially will be in different bands (will just have to wait for the lowest band to open and hope for the best)

The only heading I have is purchased history. No points on any of them. They just list season tickets bought and any tickets I bought.

Home section for me and lad if not Dave. Seriously though, they tend to give us one full side and the rest of the ground is half used so not a problem whatsoever. Tues night too……City usually have about 500-600 present at all the times I have been , mainly but not exclusively , Southern based City fans. A long hike for those travelling from Bradford though.

I have to admit I didn’t take too much notice of the points system last season and I don’t suppose I am on my own. It does look complicated and appears to be based on how much money you spend. I said I would accept whatever they come up with and I will, but my guess is this system will need refining.

Not for me they aren't, nor my son.
Under loyalty points it gives a total and says qualifying points are listed against qualifying purchases. But they aren't.
We both had a season ticket last season and 1 for next. I attended 2 or 3 more matches than he did, but the same number of points.

As above, click on the 'i' and it drills down into the game details. Image above.

It's unclear whether you have to physically attend home games to get the 20 points.

It’s a 24 hour window of opportunity for fans with the required points to buy a ticket.
The club will know exactly how many fans have the required number and therefore no risk of them selling out during that period.
It’s great because it means no mad rush at 9am to get online frantically pressing F5.
It’ll be calm and civilised knowing you have the points and can login in your own sweet time,

That won’t happen as I very much doubt there’s more than 500 fans with more points than me, therefore guaranteeing me a ticket for all 23 away games if I want one.

My daughter doesn't have an account. When I bought the tickets at no point was I asked to show a season ticket or asked to provide a name, seat or block reference. Tbf it was for the top tier in the main stand so there's always plenty of room up there. So I never felt the need to specifically ask for a certain block or seat as I just sit anywhere that's free.
I have one child ticket registered on my purchase history for last season and also 3 tickets for the Carlisle away game which my daughters both attended with me and I've been awarded points for.
I still think it wise to present your ST details if you're buying tickets for others at the VP office otherwise you might lose out on the points.

If you went to the Derek Adams open night you got 500 points and if you go to the Gazza evening you’ll get 1000

You will not accrue points for buying tickets for other people.

This is what the club communicated prior to 21/22, regarding how to gain points -

Loyalty Scheme | Bradford City (bradfordcityafc.com)

    I'm lying. That's what they've just issued.

You won’t get a Harrogate or Barrow ticket. The rest you’ll be fine

You can’t check, you have to login to those accounts. If you purchased via friends and family and correctly allocated who you were buying for then the points should be there

I've always been to the ticket office for away tickets. Every now and again I was asked for membership numbers but not always, it depended on who was serving you.
