I have E.mailed the club and provided a screen shot of the missing points as evidence. I also CC’d the Supporters Board and Supporters Trust. Thanks for raising the point. Missing 80 points is a significant number.

Can anyone think of another similar situation where you pay (in our case for a season ticket) up front by CC of DD and if for what ever reason you can't make the game you get penalised in this case lose 20 points.
I think it a disgrace and needs changing, for the club not to respond to its customers is even worse , what's happend to the my doors always open comment from Ryan.
This situation needs addressing, why would the club penalise Bradford City fans because they can't attend a game they have already paid for, you shouldn't have to prove you've been to a home game that is missing from your loyalty points account.

It not a matter of loyalty points winding you up mate, it's wrong I would ask is it legal to do what the club are doing with regards docking points for none attending a game especially when many believe their ticket may not have been scanned or the system is dodgy.
If you get 20 points per home game once its purchased you should automatically have 20 x 23 = 460 points in your loyalty account and then more added for friendlies, Papa John, League Cup, FA Cup joining the members club etc , but not least for purchasing an away ticket should be added to your 460 total home points, the more I think about it the angrier I get .

It’ll more likely be for every £10 you spend in the club shop you get 10 loyalty points, when I went in at Christmas for presents I’d have more points than loyal if that was the case talk about expensive.

No system is ever fair but for me personally the scheme is there first and foremost to give fans priority over others for away tickets and nothing else. And the fairest way to deal with that is to give first dibs on tickets to fans who have spent their time following the team away. I shouldn't have a better chance of getting an away ticket than a fan who has been to more away games than me just because i bought more shirts than him or her. Some might argue that fans down south going to away games shouldn't get priority because of this but to be fair every game for fans living miles from Bradford is an away game.

Spot on, if they want it to be a system where you can get loyalty for almost anything then it’s time they changed just what the points are used for. Have them like a Tesco club card or similar where you can cash them in for discounts on merchandise etc. if the only benefit is away tickets, then simply only give points for attending away games. I haven’t been to many this season and have no problem that I missed out on Northampton tickets to people who went to places like Gillingham and Swindon on a Tuesday night.

I’m not sure what else the scheme is for if it’s not priority access to tickets!

I’ve had a reply from the club now regarding missing points and been told their investigation has shown our season ticket cards weren’t scanned at the said matches, hence the missing points. Not further expansion or explanation, just the standard Regards at the end.
Clearly that’s the point I was raising - we were there and either the operator, scanner or system is failing and needs correcting and fixing.
I’ve responded now showing transactions in the club shop and Tiffin bars - not sure why I would spend in the shop ten minutes before kick off without going inside, and I’d like to know how I can spend inside in the tea bars without using my ticket to get inside!
I know some people think it’s a stuck record or obsession about points but when it make a difference between getting tickets for just myself or my kids as well then it needs sorting!

They are making it up as they go along.

I can confirm that I have points and my daughter has points for a game where I attended but she didn't because she was ill. However I don't have points for a game where I changed my seat because she was mascot which I did attend.

There is something wrong with the system that should just give people who bought a ticket the points regardless due to the system at times not being fit for purpose.

On twitter pretty much every post is saying it should be based on away games attended. Because that is the whole point of this scheme no matter how the scheme is worded. I've no problem with what Sparks has done in trying to raise more revenue off the back of it as potential revenue streams are few in number but in asking fans opinion he's pretty much admitting it will change to being based pretty much solely on away games attended.

I did a bit of investigating into this, with assistance from Mick Lamb.

It seems that some points are going on to the system, without showing up on the purchase history.

On the face of it I had 40 missing points from two home matches. However, Mick Lamb was able to produce a screen print from the Club's system to show that I had been given the points, even though the purchase history shows otherwise. So, I investigated further and found that I had 40 points more than the purchase history indicated.

So, it seems my points total is correct, even though the purchase history shows missing home points.

I have to use a particular turnstile for home games (superstitious reasons) and the young girl religiously scans my QR code on my phone.
My wife is not as sad as me and just uses the one with the shortest queue.
She’s told me on numerous occasions that the person checking her code has often just looked at it and ushered her through.
She’s even asked the person if they are scanning tickets and been told their scanner occasionally doesn’t work and it’s ok to just check it visually.

For this reason alone I don’t think attending home games (after you’ve bought a season ticket) should be included in the points system.
There are too many potential flaws in the system for it to be very accurate.

And disadvantages people who spend less. Why should some one who has 5 kids who they buy shirts for have a better chance of a Salford ticket than someone who has no kids ? I mean where does it stop ? Priority for away games should be based on attending football games. They already have that stupid pointless £40 membership scheme what offers nothing in place . Attach your pie buying onto that and leave the ticket priority top people who deserve it

Well I’ve been an England supporter all my life and buy shirts for every tournament.
I’m just as loyal to my country as someone who travels to Kazakhstan on a Tues night.
Why is it then that I cannot get one of the 90000 Wembley tickets for a Euro semi final?

It’s just how these things work and Bradford City should be no different but yet they try to re-invent the wheel with some non standard priority scheme where buying a pie gives rewards.

I sincerely hope that Ryan Sparks reads these boards and all other social media platforms because that’s all the feedback he needs.

The unanimous feeling is that the scheme should stay exactly as it is now.

The scheme on the whole has worked.

So including shop and kiosk sales is just completely fecking it up.
