    Not interested in Liverpool, I see 'em on the telly, it's not as if it's1981. I'd go to VP for a Darby game whoever was playing.

    For a normal friendly, you could put up Liverpool's starting CL winning team and I would not give a monkeys fart. It's not as if I'd see anything special like................Carlos Valderrama.

    The strength of the team isn't known yet in fact the match hasn't been confirmed to date but I am sure it will be a decent team.for a testimonial match

    This is getting silly, the point is the match will be raising money for a young man, recently married, who we all hold in the highest regard, I don’t care if we play the Liverpool U15’s i’ll Be there to support him. No doubt cry like a middle aged baby when he walks onto the pitch!!
    I’ve already agreed with a couple of bin dippers (scousers) that if this happens we will take a box, sponsor, do something to help the fund. Bring it on, one of the all time city legends

    What part of pre season friendly / benefit game is so hard to understand if you think they will turn up with same team as last Saturday you might be disappointed.
    That's if we actually play against them nothing confirmed as yet.

    As a Bradford fan, born in Liverpool, this is a dream occasion. I was too young to see us in the premiership, so never saw THAT Wetherall goal, but what a joyous day this will be, and for such a worthy cause.
