I’m sure the club are aware that a lot of ST holders will not go for various reasons BUT what if they did and the club had offered two per holder. They are not going to risk the chaos that happened when they did it before

 

Kids haven't broken up school and I am sure you can rearrange your Butlins holiday.

Even if 2-3k people are on holiday that doesn't matter as demand for this will be high.

You enjoy butlins. I will be there to support a City Legend that needs our support.

As per every cup game. Well puss us off but what can do ? We get a good view all year but if we get a good game then it's a scramble to find a seat elsewhere.

 

Sadly going to miss it. Will donate my £15 to the fund instead.

Not even as though I’m missing it due to being on holiday. Working overseas can have advantages but also can be a pain in the ass too. It’ll be my 4th trip overseas for work since the turn of the year. The timing couldn’t be worse

If we extended it to two, there is a risk of it oversubscribing. We're near 14k now with ticket sales and if each bought two, with City fans buying one for their mates or Liverpool friends, it could leave us with a big issue on our hands.

It's not worth the risk of a PR disaster as per previous years.

The TL Dallas stand is being held back for now. We'll monitor demand from City fans and Liverpool and make a decision on whether to open that up down the line.

All receipts are going to the Darby/Rimmer Charity, so the aim of the club is to maximum the gate and income for a deserving legend.

On that point, Stephen took time out last night to attend as a special guest at the Bradford City FC Disability awards night. It was a surprise appearance and everyone was delighted by his kind gesture. That's the guy that we're honouring. A true Legend.

I spoke to him and he was overwhelmed with the support and the generosity of Bradford and Liverpool for putting on such a high profile game. He said Steph and their extended families will be coming.

His next stop was flying out to France to watch her in the world cup, but he made sure he kept his promise to Disability FC and gave so many people a night that they'll never forget.

Yes, hopefully nearer the time a link to a just giving site etc will be put up. It’s a nice gesture to get this arranged for Stephen and his family.

I know that Liverpool fans will fill Midland rd and if people like @How are off to Butlins then give them TL Dallas as well because they would fill that too but I am sure City fans will be wanting to attend and demand will be extremely high.

Normally, I don't attend pre season friendlys but this is totally different it's for a man that gave this club everything while he was here and rightly is a legend. Fans owe him and he needs us.

I've said it's time Bradford City started to act like a big club(that we're in the lower leagues) and for the club to arrange this in honour of one of our legends is a start.

Well Done to Bradford City and Liverpool FC for arranging this for Darby and I am sure he's mega pleased that the Champions League winners and Klopp are coming to Bradford City for him.

This one is slightly different but even at a quid last season we didn’t fill the ground
