Why get involved with something that doesn't concern you. I'd say if a disabled supporter needs a carer there is a good reason behind the ops question.

Agree fully with Tart and @Interested Bystander . Wouldn't it be nice to see a bit more decorum and focus on the real issue of supporting what should be a fantastic occasion.

Yep, definite sell out this one. I know we'll have a lot of folk who wouldn't normally be at City and obviously a big Liverpool following but I hope it shows the players the potential of what the club can be. You are obviously not getting this! and tbh I am really shocked. I cannot speak for everyone, but the majority just want to buy a ticket and support Stephen and the charity. It really doesn’t matter who you support or what colours you wear or where you sit.

Your argument about lack of respect towards Bradford City, is just for the birds. If this was a genuine competitive match, obviously it would be different, but we are trying to raise as much money as possible for this excellent charity. I think it is you and other posters on here and Twitter that is showing a distinct lack of respect towards a man who gave his all for this club. Now when he needs our support we have pathetic ramblings about not liking the opposition and deliberately disrupting the 99% postings for this great fund raising effort. You can speculate all you like about why ppl are buying tickets and filling up the stadium, but it is just that speculation. Not to mention your latest attention seeking tweets.

 

Absolutely Onside, why the need for such a personal vendetta against our opposition for a friendly is unjustifiable. This cause which has such meaning concerning a player who has represented both Clubs and who is held fondly in esteem by both sets of fans that it is a sellout itself, is testimony to an overriding feeling of goodwill and respect for Stephen. In my view, not something to warrant PB's response.

 

How on earth is someone wearing a liverpool shirt in the home part of the ground for a charity game showing disrespect I never notice what a fan sat near me is wearing and if anyone does maybe they should stop going to football and just go to fashion shows instead

This is a football match between two teams whose
fans have both suffered tragedy and are now
paying to watch a game to support a charity which
is now close to our hearts due to the sad diagnosis
of Stephen Darby.

It would be an even greater display of unity if fans
did proudly wear their shirts among each other.

i think if derbs saw a mix of shirts in the home end it would only have a positive effect on him.

And should be ours now, Liverpool apart no other club has the right to call this tune its own, Every season we have supporters saying why can we not have our own song like others when we have one of the very best in YNWA and should use it every game.
