Thanks, ahh thought that was just the EXH-EXL blocks.
Would be great to get the other areas open and have a proper sell out!

Isn’t it just exe J and Exe K that are used for the suites like on normal match days? As blocks J and K aren’t the comfy seats, as advertised, with arm rests

Totally been put off this game by the sheer volume of so called Bradford City fans coming in Liverpool shirts and sitting in the home end. Whether it's for charity or not to me it shows a complete lack of disrespect for the history and heritage of Bradford City.

You’ll be pleased to know that only a small percentage of these fans are not already on the clubs database.

Do the club have any plans to try and stop Liverpool fans getting in the home end? I know its a charity match but at the end of the day it only needs one idiot to kick off.

Exactly this. I get that it's a charity match and we want to sell as many tickets as possible, and I get Liverpool fans will be sitting in the home stands. However I think it's sh!t that they're going to wear their Liverpool kit.

I doubt the majority will even know who Stephen Darby is, they'll just becoming to watch Liverpool a team they pretend to support but make no effort to support them properly apart from buying a Sky Sports pass..

It also shows how hard it is for lower league teams to get supporters through the doors.. Even at £150 a ST they can't shift more than 16000.. Yet can sell 20,000 tickets in a week when a well known club comes to town

It’s a good point, but Liverpool are currently struggling to sell the allocation they have been given; so although a few armchair Liverpool will be in the home end, it’s going to be a very small proportion - according to club records.

I don’t care who comes or what the motive is or what shirt they wear this match is about one thing. Raising money for a great cause

We might struggle to sell season tickets this year but we had 20k the other year and have over 70k supporters who are on our data base who have either been season ticket holders or have purchased a ticket to support Bradford City down the years.
No surprise that we can flog this many tickets for a high profile friendly

No doubt they are the season ticket holders who spend most of their matches on their phones checking the Premier League scores, often audibly celebrating goals that their preferred brand of red team have scored.

    Indeed.

Anyone who thinks this game will be anything other than a chance for Bradford Reds to celebrate the Champions League win is seriously deluding themselves.

It's great that money will be raised for a good cause, but that won't be the main motivation of most in attendance.

They might have just won the Champions League but they are not as big as Rangers who I believe sold all their allocations ;).

Liverpool have their own tv channel and usually cover games not sure about pre season friendlies, but again you need Liverpool TV.

Dead right. And that's why I'm not going. Hope those that do enjoy the day and I hope it raises money for a good cause. But its not for me.

I get that many City fans also have a 'premiership team' they 'support'. in most cases it tends to be Liverpool or Man United. Worst case scenario... the City/Liverpool fans turn up in buoyant mood with a mixture of CTID and 6 times singing going on. Easy to get carried away etc. A couple of 'idiots' take it too far and lose sight of the end they're sat in, maybe a couple of City fans get wound up, maybe a couple of City/United fans kick off and it gets nasty. You'd hope not, its a friendly, great cause etc. But all football fan-bases have an idiotic element. Throw in some alcohol etc. Probably unlikely, but imagine the sort of unsavoury scenes that might ensue....

I have the opposite attitude to a couple of the previous posts, get people in the ground and maybe they might enjoy themselves and end up coming along to a few more games and spend some money, we want our fan base to grow not stagnate and events like this will without a doubt help.
