What is it with you Liverpool don’t play many first teamers in some competitions like the league cup. It’s pre season of course some won’t play. This match is taking place for one reason Stephen Darby

I’m not sure what the club have done with block A of the Main stand, and nor does my source. However, 300 seats were set to have been made available out of 450 or so....so whether they have already been pre-sold, I’m not sure.

I believe total sold to be around the 24,200 mark. I’m sure we’ll have an announcement later/tomorrow.

For all those still whinging on who will and won’t play for Liverpool, they played Bury away on the same date last season; and this is how they lined-up. Some players have obviously left, but it may give some an insight as to how Klopp might approach this game.

Liverpool first half team: Karius, Clyne, Van Dijk, Matip, Moreno, Milner, Fabinho, Jones, Ojo, Origi, Sturridge

Second half team: Karius (Grabara), Gomez, Phillips, Klavan, Robertson, Chirivella, Woodburn, Keita, Camacho, Lallana, Solanke

Not an expert on Liverpool but that looks like a reasonable approach, in our case I would guess some will be elsewhere, some will be given time off but the rest will be included.

They play Tranmere a few days before us and then a week later they are playing 4/5 big European teams over in the USA.

I think he will split the first team between Tranmere and us to give them all a run out before they jet off to the U.S.

That said its about charity so doesn't really matter who they play.

Would the gate receipts be going to MND too?
    Think about what you’re saying....!

Probably not, but seen as Liverpool aren’t our fierce arch-rivals, I’m not sure it’s the same thing.

What you’re saying is you’d prefer Darby’s MND charity to earn significantly less money just so we don’t see red tops being worn in the home end?

Sorry but that’s petty as fook

Which is fine, but when one of those said he wasn’t ever going to go attend because he didn’t want to see red shirts in the home ends, then he is part of the problem that he’s moaning about.

Where have I said that!? This is completely made up. If Liverpool followers that live in Bradford want to come then fine. However show a little respect to the club you’re playing against and don’t sit in the home sections with a Liverpool shirt on

So why shouldn’t a Liverpool fan, living in Bradford, that has purchased a £50-£60 top, be allowed to wear it at a charity away game?

As I say, you’d rather empty seats, loss or money, than allow Liverpool fans to wear their team’s colours?

What is all this bitching about who is sitting where, who is going to play for Liverpool?

The sole purpose of this match is to raise funds for MND research. If you have had a relative suffer and die with this atrocious disease you would just be so proud of both clubs and their fans contributing to this extremely worthwhile cause.

Sorry, couldn’t keep quiet any longer.

They can wear it if they’re in the away end. I think it’s disrespectful to wear it in the home end! It’s nothing to do with raising money for charity

And if they couldn’t get tickets in the away end or wanted to sit with their City supporting mates, they shouldn’t show others which team they follow?

I think they should show some respect to their surroundings and realise it may not be appropriate. If I come in a half and half Everton & Leeds shirt would I be welcome

You are obviously not getting this! and tbh I am really shocked. I cannot speak for everyone, but the majority just want to buy a ticket and support Stephen and the charity. It really doesn’t matter who you support or what colours you wear or where you sit.

Your argument about lack of respect towards Bradford City, is just for the birds. If this was a genuine competitive match, obviously it would be different, but we are trying to raise as much money as possible for this excellent charity. I think it is you and other posters on here and Twitter that is showing a distinct lack of respect towards a man who gave his all for this club. Now when he needs our support we have pathetic ramblings about not liking the opposition and deliberately disrupting the 99% postings for this great fund raising effort. You can speculate all you like about why ppl are buying tickets and filling up the stadium, but it is just that speculation. Not to mention your latest attention seeking tweets.
