Salty because of people like me? Haha get outta town man. He got asked some big boy questions and his bottom lip started going. Well done Jamie Raynor, good to see him ask the questions people want asking.

What is really worrying is McCalls judgment or lack of it, He made 4 changes and each one made the side weaker and it was obvious to most that it would do exactly that, A first year football scholar would know that BRE is to slow and ponderous to play outside in a three, Looking at Lincoln and the fact they like to play and break quickly and play 3 up front why on earth would you play 3 at the back? Why would you drop the MOM from the last game?
The defeat was in a large part down to decisions McCall made and that is worryingHow, Feats Don't Fail Me Now, Bronco and 3 others like this. -
How so many are now worried about SM management skills is amazing . Did no one see his last 2 stints at the club . Had disaster written all over it 3rd time round

I find it rather ironic that Cooke commented the reason he came back to City (after being offered better terms else where) was to developed his career under yes you've guessed it Stuart MacCall.
Stuart's first spell was always about bringing the legend back knowing it was a risk with him only ever being an assistant, he could not get the club promoted accepting that fact and resigning after he had taken a large pay cut.
I'm sure you dont need me reminding you about his second spell and the reasons why he was sacked, during his 18 months at the club we occupied a top 7 place through out, even when Rahic sacked him we were still in with a very good chance of a play off place, unfortunately during his last spell there were extenuating circumstances he had little or no control over as Mr Championship manager found out as did Collins who was hung out to dry by Rahic and let's not forget Hopkins who could not get a tune out of the players.
This is his third spell as you say and last night was a disaster but I will give him time to sort the squad out and I certainly wont be asking for his head after 4 games, as he said in his interview judge me after 46 games, if results dont change I'm not sure he'll get his wish but I for one dont want another change of manager and he will get my backing.ConnecticutBantam, Keefly Bantam, WilsdenBantam and 3 others like this. -

You have folk like Park whom don't demand more. Quite happy to accept whatever is put in front of us.
The blame goes right to the top IMO. Rupp has overseen the demise of this club. The blame lies there.Angryangryian, Morley Bantam, CRASS and 2 others like this. -

Here you go Stuart, just read the below, m8....
After conceding two early goals tonight, the lads were triffic and stuck to it.
Yer, I know we gave away some sloppy goals early but listen we won't be playing the likes of mighty Lincoln every week.
It's a shame our two game unbeaten run ended tonight but with a bit more luck we might have got into their half a bit more
We've had two clean sheets in the last two games so we shouldn't be getting overly worried about this blip. We've got our 10 goals a season forward line to fire us back to a win in Saturday.
The lads tried hard, I hope everyone at home can see they ran around a lot. I'd be really disappointed if our fans got twittering about our mistakes tonight because we just came up against a class team here tonight and there's not much we can do about that.Skyebantam, Captain Grumpy, simons (woking bantam) and 2 others like this. -
Let’s face it - we are a total embarrassment of a club at the moment. We are so badly run it is embarrassing. No Ambition and no forward vision. We keep going back to our ex girlfriend for inspiration - but there is a reason for an Ex girlfriend - not good enough.
if we finish top half I will be amazed.
we are a Car Crash under Ruup/Rhodes/Mcall.
we need a shake up and soon or oblivion beckons. -

Wow, Stuart pretty livid with the questions being asked. Sounds like his hands are tied when it comes to signings, and he's sick and tired of being asked the question. Didn't like the game being called a shambles. Went over again about the strikers he's been in contact with. Said he's sick and tired of being asked about strikers, but where does he get a 20 goal a season striker from. Said he also needs a right back. Says he needs players that are gonna improve the club. Says he is doing his maximum to get players into the club, but can't get them in straight away from Prem clubs.
Proper angry and spitting words. Pretty honest answers from him, but he's definitely under pressure and it's showing.Botswana Bantam, The Evidence, Fordy117 and 2 others like this. -

Unless I missed something (and that is not unknown) what he actually said was he understood the reason why they chose not to come to Bradford City. He did not give the reasons. He gave one example. He said that one of the targets did not come because of financial reasons. For the other targets he did not give any specific. reason.
Surely part of his role is to make players want to come to Bradford City. Persuade them that this is the place they want to be. That he can take their career upwards, make them a better player. The player becomes so excited by his plan both for the club and the player they WANT to come here.
What I am hearing from him is that they gave him a reason not to come and he went "OK. I can understand that. Thanks for your time". What he should have said is "Yea OK. I get that but here is what I can do for you."
And there was no point in last nights interview that he said, this is mine, I am the manager, the buck stops with me. I made the changes, I decided to play BRE in the wide role, I decided to not play Novak or Clarke, I decided to change formation. The changes at half time were my decision. I decided to ...... so it sits with me. I take it on the chin, I own this. It is up to me to look at the players we have and decide what I need to do.
But he didn't. He sat there like Donny Trump throwing the blame around onto everyone else but him.
No matter all my name calling, McCrap, Teflon (1, 2 or 3) bottom line is that at no point in his career as a manager has he demonstrated that he has the ability to take a club, build it up and move it forward. he simply doesn't have the mental strength and that was evident in the interview last night.
