So why wasn't Edin there then? Pray tell! If friends and former clubmates and can't be arsed to turn up!! Can you come clean and say it was Rhodes that wanted the flyover stopped!!

 

I have no idea why Edin wasn't there. They expected to see him. But they weren't investors. We spent several hrs with them after arranging somewhere they could have something to eat and watch the leverkusen / Stutgart game on TV.

Hopefully Rupp can come to an agreement on price, which should be considerably less than what he paid for them. As long as he is out of the picture which it would appear to be, is a step in the right direction. My guess is that Rhodes is proxy CEO and answerable to Rupp.

 

I heard that Rhodes is the one buying back in, not sure if just Rahics share or both sets of shares. Could be wide of the mark but would make sense to me.

That would be very interesting; when he sold City I thought he had enough, but maybe he missed us What we need is steady investment year on year to steady the ship, not sure if Julian has the financial clout or will to do that, but hey in this world of change anything can happen.

In actual fact, I made a post on here about a month ago stating pretty much was has become very evident this week.
However, I didn't have any tangible evidence to back it up, and felt uneasy I could put some people in n awkward situation.
Therefore instead of a triumphant announcement, I chose to throw it in mid-sentence in a innocuous thread.
One or two picked up on it.

 

Has the article been toned down in line with the cancellation of the flyover? Allowing Rahic to leave with some grace, wants to go, homesick, family unhappy etc etc might make him more amiable to striking a deal than if any shit there is has been flung about l?
