Its what we have become. "Hey, its a four nil defeat, but what did you expect us to do?' Maybe we could have saved on the cost of the team bus by telling them we couldn't raise a team cos we expect to lose anyway.

17? F*ck me, we'll be the richest team in league 2 by some considerable distance. And to think Lawn and Rhodes struggled to find anyone interested in buying us when we were good. They should have just done an 'Edin Rahic' and completely ballsed everything up, it seems attract investors like flies round shit.

I refuse point blank to be miserable, I know we lost, but with very much depleted defence. However, the man responsible for this chaotic mess we are in has left or is on his way in any event he is toast. No idea about the employment contract, or if he borrowed money from Rupp to buy the club who knows.

It is now time to roll up our sleeves and back our squad such as it is. If we go down, it will not be with a whimper, everyone can come back. Nobody expected us to get anything tonight, we all hoped, but realistically we knew it was a step up too far. However, let’s see if we can win our home games, at least. Then it really is down to Rupp to see he is willing to invest.

So the friends from Germany, were actually investors. Am I reading that right?

According to Telegraph yes. I would prefix that with the word 'potential'.

If that is true then it should make his exit easier as Rupp could just write the debt off to take the shares back, unless Rupp doesn’t want to do that and thus Edin needs to find a mug to pay top whack for his shares

    Why would he be?

With any hope, they wouldn't be investing in any club that has anything to do with him even if they were investors

Maybe the term 'friends' should be prefixed with the word 'former'?;)

Potentially he may well want to clear his debt/recover any investment and then go on 'Gardening Leave'. Apart from his and his wife's 'work' at City, he may not have any other source of income and will need to find some alternative occupation.

He might want that, but his shares thanks to his endeavour are not worth as much; ‘Be gamble aware’ and all that, shares go down as well as up. His contract of employment might well have clauses that require payment, but you would have thought there would be clauses in that protect the club, ie less paying the club does not do well, and cessation of employment. His debts are his to own, and we should not be responsible for those. His future employment is up to him, nothing to do with us.

No doubt Rupps lawyers will be all over it.

The article says very little other regurgitate what's been said on here and other City based social media from the past couple of weeks.

No but it is now in the National public domain. The keen to move is new, I thought he would need dragging out of here by the short and curlies. We are more than keen for him to go as well.

    To you, maybe.

But it's not an article aimed at Bradford City fans, and that surely is the whole point.

What? I think it says a lot.

For instance, 'The Telegraph understands that Rahic wants to leave, but the terms of his exit are complex. A source close to the club said: "It's a matter of when and not if Edin goes, but the situation is complicated by the shareholders' agreement and Rahic’s employment contract." The last six words identify the stumbling blocks. No one has gone as far as that previously.

It's a fact we have followers who work for the press association. A lot of what has been in the national press recently is regurgitated stuff all from the same source or sources

You can either chalk it up to ever-mounting pressure for a guy who isn't currently anywhere near the club to quit, or a declaration of his intention to quit.

No issues with your statement here, interested to know what motivates you to say it, though?

You don't think he's going? Don't want him to go? Don't trust the press? Don't trust Katie Whyatt? Have any reason for the above? Something different?

    Play some cards, Park.
