Good riddance to bad rubbish, but what a unholy mess he leaves to sort.

 

We are going to struggle to get out of league 2 without a player sale or cup run and will probably stay there for quite a while. If we fail to stay up this season which looks like the most likeliest scenario then the damage has already been done.

 

Good feck off, all that hard work down the drain. It took years to get out of that swamp league, but in doing so created some of my best memories as a football fan. All that feels a waste now, who knows how long it will take to get back up.

There is a pretty good chance of that, admittedly, but who knows...

... There's no one at the club left to blame for the state of the squad assembled, so genuinely see nothing else for it but to back City to the hilt - not as a happy clapper, but in order to back a group of players and a manager with a MASSIVE job on their hands.

We have to finish 20th this season, end of.

January feels a long way away, and maybe it is damage limitation until then, but if we can keep in touch, bring in some real ability, offload the ones that capitulate as soon as it gets tough, who knows.

Next Week hopefully completion and an end to one of the worst chapters in Bradford Citys recent history.
The damage to our fanbase and club can be repaired but don't expect overnight success.
