    And Businesses in Cross Hills pay their business rates and the percentage that goes to the local council will go to Craven rather than Bradford

    Alfred Ayrton also saved City (and created it). That was a very long time ago, and so is 1973/74. In reality Ken Morrison’s personal involvement with City is now distant history, it is what the massive supermarket chain has done since then, that is the issue for many fans.

    What the chuff has that got to do with jct having s head office that is postally in Bradford and physically in Leeds ?

    Other than kind of prove my point that you don’t have to physically exist in one town to be postally in another.

    Nowhere have I disagreed that jct pay rates in Leeds. Your point is pointless

    It was always said that Morrison left the board due to a fall out with jack tordoff, WW has said they remained close.

    It’s a long time ago, perhaps he fell out with bob Martin and his mad ideas like changing our name to Bradford metro

    The discussion was about where companies head offices were and where they paid rates to. No one was disagreeing that postal address effects which town a place is in. Where it is is defined by the council border which is where you pay your rates.

    You seemed to have missed what was being discussed. Maybe you were doing something in Crosshills rather than noticing what was being talked about

    He hopes to become a (very) professional Beer tester/analyst/reviewer and subsequently expert. A Pete Brown character for those in the know (and I am sure @Ulysses S Grant@Ulysses S Grant knows who I am referring to). On a regular and unrelenting voluntary basis he is developing his CV. ;)
