Don't think hes been mentioned here but Jevani Brown's contract is up this summer, might be one to go for in the summer. if there's no monies for transfer fees.

Derek Adams mentioned in an interview on Radio Leeds this evening that a couple of clubs still keeping tabs on Elliott Watt but Adams keen to keep him

Not for me. One of the very few players in our side who is willing to get his foot and the ball and pass it.

 

Juicy sell on fee and I’d take it. We need experience in there and as tidy as Watt is, the hollywood passes are not what we need right now.

 

I have to disagree. Someone who is comfortable in possession and can pass a ball is exactly what we need in the midfield. Now Watt is not in his best form, granted, but I think people would understand his importance to the team if he was to miss a few games.

 

Can tell we’re in dire straits when the January transfer thread is approaching its seventh page mid-November.

 

If we can improve on him then he wouldn’t be a miss. Ideally we get an improvement and keep Watt. As Adams has said, he could become a decent player.

 

Sadly you’re probably right, I don’t mind Watt still young and got improving to do but with his technique I can see it happening. We won’t see the benefits though.

 

I'd sell him. Get a fee now with a decent sell on and bring in someone more suited to Adams style of play and League Two.

He's got potential and is more likely to realise that under technically better coaches higher up, and we benefit now.

Win win if we get his replacement right. We need a Gary Jones type to go alongside songo'o who is more the Nathan Doyle type.

 

We must keep Watt he is our only saleable asset and he will come good as we rise through the leagues

 

It all depends on the sort of fee we are talking and if the funds will be given to Adams or used to cover other expenses.

if we can flog him, play Songoo and Sutton as defensive mids and bring in a new, decent striker and a better wide-man id do it.

staunton or foulds can play CB to replace Yann
