Just a hunch, but i would say a new right back is required and will be high on the list of things to do and get done.

City currently have right backs that need leaving right back in the changing rooms,

Two average at best L2 keepers. Right backs been a problem position for a few seasons now. CM that lacks composure but is "one of the best passers in the league". Wingers that seem scared to commit a man or run at a defence, and an injury prone striker core......... big January ahead if we want anything out of this season. Summer rebuild, here we come!

 

Isn’t Sutton a right back? Our central midfield is woeful. I’d move him there and sign 2 central midfielders and we have songoo as back up and keep him defence for now. sell watt he’s not the player we need in this dogfight we are now in

McDiarmid Park boss Callum Davidson has dipped into the free-agent market following recent injuries suffered by Glenn Middleton and Stevie May.
The 25-year-old began his career with Birmingham and has most recently been with CSKA Sofia and Wigan. He has been without a club since leaving the Latics at the end of last season.
