I'm happy to call out delude old fans that see no wrong in the club. The same ones that clap no matter how shocking the team has been. And poorly run this club still is.

The thing is bud I ain’t seen one team this season including the leaders that I have thought are a really good team it’s bang average hence why in my opinion that we should be at least in a play off spot and we would IF he just let them go and try and win games

Delf is a solid signing IMO. He can fill the role Angol played and hopefully won’t be as injury prone.

Would rather have him than an Austin Samuels/Burrell type loan any day of the week.

Not denying it are you. Same pattern all season. Try and join two sentences together, no matter how ridiculous and see what happens?

You don’t even know the name of our club . I bet you ain’t ever set foot in Bradford your entire life?

When did we change our name to Bradford?

    It’s Bradford City……see the pattern?

So you don’t care how season tickets or entrance fees are used.. ?

The rest I agree with, but it’s still good business, no matter how one cares to debate.

So are you saying Delf is a Lee Angol then, as a pose to Robinson who is no Lee Angol?

Can you respost that link ? It just sends me back to your post
    Ha Ha

Everytime I watch Sky Sports Saturday or listen to a commentary on Radio Weeds, I get the same question from Bruce (aka The Boss/ Wife).

    "Have Bradford won"

It really annoys her, but I always reply, I have no idea, but Bradford City have (or lost/ drawn)

I think he will be able to play that left sided forward role more effectively than Robinson, yes.

He’s clearly no worldbeater but if the options were to sign an experienced player who has been recently successful in the league with Bolton, or an 18 year old kid with little or no senior experience, I think we took the sensible option.

I read the first line of that (before seeing the name) and immediately thought "Roy McFarland". Bobby Moore was the same. Not blessed with pace but his anticipation of the game made him the player he was, as was Colin Todd.

At our level, the same could be said of both Rory McArdle (at his peak), Andrew Davies and Joe Cooke. Obviously a different level of the game and a lot less skill, but all difficult to play against because they made up for the lack of pace with a brain. I'm sure Canavan once had that, because he's never had pace, but something has happened here to ruin his thought pattern and make him worry about his natural game.

I've no qualms about him going (there isn't actually a single player in the whole squad that I would have qualms about) but I am concerned that we didn't replace him first with a specialist centre half.

He's one of them who always seems to play well against us.

Let's see if he plays well for us. Mind, not sure how he's getting in the team at the moment. Where will he fit?

Delf is better than Robinson but the problem is Robinson is still here and we could've used the wage saved on him leaving and used it on someone in a more important position. We have 6 strikers and we play one up top...

No need to address it as an argument, people disagree when it comes to football and especially when it comes to Bradford City :grinning:

I think in L2 it is very difficult to secure a striker that guarantees goals. You either have to take a stab on someone on the way down in their career or take a chance on a youngster/non-league player. You only have to look at this year's current L2 top scorer and last season's top scorer to appreciate that there is a bit of luck involved. Even then, in years gone by when we have signed strikers that we think will guarantee goals, it hasn't worked out for whatever reason.

I think Adams has acknowledged the need to try and get more goals throughout the team and ease that pressure on Cook. If Walker & Delfouneso can start chipping in with goals, as well as creating chances for others then that is a big step in the right direction. The wider question is whether Adams and his tactics allows this to happen.

Saturdays calling out by Adams would not have helped, we don't know what's gone on since then, Caravan gets an18 moth contract and we get a fee I can't see anything wrong with that, Canavan has been poor in recent games, who's to say Canavan didn't tell Adams where to stick the Captains arm band and he couldn't work under Adams after Saturday.

Bit harsh that on Delf, one thing I can absolutely assure you of Faithful is his ability. Evatt has a very specific way he wants players to play and whilst he was a big part of our promotion last season, the changes Evatt has made to the squad this year has left him sidelined. That doesn’t take anything away from his ability, he’s got plenty of that but maybe not as an out and out striker. He’ll probably play left side although he can equally well play down the right but either way he will create chances. He still has pace and I doubt there’s anybody at VP with his skill, so played right he will be a good signing. Anyway, good luck for the rest of the season, you’re far too big a club to be where you are.

I'd think he would still have been training with Bolton first team squad as normal but with regards match fitness he has until Friday to convince Adams he's going to be more than a bench warmer
