That game was the last time I set foot inside VP and after today I have fewer regrets than ever before

 

We have what we have now and it's up to GB to knuckle down and get results. I have my doubts but if that's what the powers that be have deemed, let them fall on their swords if we do fail.

 

We have a habit of turning supposed 'good' players in to shit players, so maybe it works in the opposite direction?

This could be our best transfer window yet.

 

We had one perhaps two and gave them away because the so called manager apparently prefers a 9-0-1 formation with the full backing of the board (+ parkbantam + banbrotam)

 

If that's true, Jermaine Anderson is going to be pretty damn annoyed to find out he was good all along...

 

2 of those were recalled and one threw his toys out. You can hardly blame Bowyer for that.

 

Palmer and Oteh no loss. Neither is Patrick. Did well to get a fee!!!

Bowyer clueless so probably made sense selling Doyle. Vaughan didn't want to be here.

For what it's worth, the view down here in Stevenage from some is that he's a mardy arse with a bit of an attitude and can't be arsed at times. Others will say they don't play to his strengths or haven't given him a good run of games and ultimately the club has been dire since middle of last season, right? So, it's a bit of a strikers graveyard.

He scores about 1 in 4 (boro and Colchester) and perhaps he needs a club that's got a bit more ambition to get something out of him? Key aspect, yes he's tall but he doesn't just stand in the 6 yard box waiting for headers so I'm a bit worried he won't fit into BowyerS way of playing, get frustrated, end up leaving on loan in the summer window. But who does play BowyerS way or even know what that is, eh?
