Yeah cos Novak is highly prolific in league 2. All about opinions but Evans judged purely on football ability is way better than what we currently have.

What the hell does that matter? In terms of pure footballing ability, Novak is nowhere near Ched Evans.

 

May have been just a clash of personalities he had Joey Bartoni, Joey's the boss so goodbye Evans.

 

That was just an optional extra at the end. Playing wise a fit Novak IS a better allaround player than Evans, more suited to our needs. Novak will get his share of goals. We need another striker alongside him, that could be Evans although personally I wouldn't go for him.

Pretty much same age. Novak scores in 29% of games, Evans in 32%. Both pretty much played at the same levels in their career.

Not a lot between them apart from (without any shadow of doubt) Nivak is the better human being, and probably the better all round team player.

Trouble follows Evans round and id much rather have Novak in our squad.

 

Novak seems to be suffering from the Jack Compton syndrome - the longer he was out, the better a player he became in the eyes of some. Maybe that's because watching Donaldson has lowered the bar quite a bit but I'm not seeing the hype. He'll do a job for us this season in the lower end of this division because its his level. But he's nothing more than an average lower L2 journeyman striker. His hold up play is pants - I've given Donaldson stick for that in recent weeks but I actually think he contributes more in that regard. He manages to get himself in some good positions but has a habit of missing sitters (two examples yesterday). I certainly wouldn't be comparing him to strikers like Evans who is a better goalscorer and all round player.

I must be missing the fact Evans has played at a higher level for the last few years.

 

I wonder the sanity of some when they rate a player who's played at a lower level higher than a player who's played a level above. Especially someone who's hardly set the world on fire for us.

Ched Evans has played 24 more games than Novak above League One Level. Ok if he hadn't been banged up we wouldn't be having this debate, but he was. The last thing a club who has just had to sack a player fir being a paedophile needs is to employ one who was convicted of rape, even if wrongly.

Evans messed his career up himself and hasn't exactly set the world alight since he came back. If he is so good why was he at Fleetwood?

 

You said that Evans is a better player than Novak. Well being a better player is more than just ability it’s attitude character work rate and dependability so taking every thing into account you were wrong
