After people your age have kicked the bucket broncs my generation will still have to deal with climate change and what that means for society, given things will be getting fecking hairy over the next 40 odd years in light of those who came before us' abject failure to do anything about this. greens are the only ones who've taken the issue seriously for years when blowjo didn't even think it was a thing until last year.

The likes of India and China won't be reducing their use of coal in the near future they have made that clear, Brazil will continue with deforestation, our contribution will be minute compared with the worlds developing countries, not sure voting Green would make much difference.
My generation along with many others payed the last of our payment to America to finish the debt we owed them with regards the munitions they supplied us during the second world war on 29 December 2006, I'm sure you're glad the British had the balls to call the Nazis's out and go to war or the likes of you and me wouldn't be having this exchange of opinions, as you correctly state, in light of those who came before us.

Environmentalists like Friends of the Earth, Greenpeace and the Green Party have been telling us for 50 years that climate disaster would happen unless we change our ways and we've done next to nothing about it. More inertia than hysteria.

ergo you think its bollocks, if we do nothing and people like yourself are totally wrong we're condemning our kids and their kids to live on a planet that will be almost unliveable. If I'm wrong but we do something we just won't be using fossil fuels anymore. Much bigger risks associated with doing nothing.

 

I would even consider a vote for UKIP a viable option if thats what you really want. My point is that the whole 'x party will never get in' is a self fulfilling prophecy more than anything else.
