This is terrible news tbh. I doubt he has walked of his own volition, a gentle shove, and the board step aside and allow him to walk with dignity, they get brownie points from me.

I am presuming they are not going to allow Drury to continue, so do your best. However, in order to get season tickets selling we need a manager who can get this lot moving but I am not holding my breath.

Yep. We've gone from a play off final with McCall to virtually bottom of league 1 and what will be some 5 managers in just over 1 year. . . . and it's all Hopkins fault!
Deary me, some folk have very short memories.

 

I'm devastated by today's news, not by the fact that Hopkin has gone but just the fact that it's bad news after bad news, everyday it's more fecking bad news. what a mess this club is in.

 

As things stood I could see nothing changing and relegation.
We often see over achieving teams and hear the saying ‘the sum of the parts is greater than the team’.
This is the complete opposite.
I genuinely believe there are 4 teams with poorer squads and we can get more out of these players.
Change gives us even a slightest chance which we didn’t have as things were.
I have an, albeit small, amount of hope this morning compared to mine yesterday.

 

And if Evans fails then an already disillusioned fan base, and toxic atmosphere increases...

If we are talking ex players somebody like Matthew Killgallan with an experienced coach might do a good job

 

Bet the two of them are dancing into training this morning.

Saturday could either be a cricket score or a miracle.

 

The last thing we need is an inexperienced coach as the main decision maker. Being involved in the management team, fine. But main man, disaster!

 

We have a chance, slim but it's only 3 points. That can change in a game or two. Our defence need to stop making pretty rudimentary mistakes though. They can be good one game and simply awful the next. It's that level of inconsistency that needs to stop.

I haven't posted for a while due to ill health, but this news is devastating for the club, he joined a shite show that was created by one man who has now gone, it's going to take years for us to recover has a club to get over that lunatic, hopefully we can pull someone out of the hat to keep us in this division but in all honesty it's going be a hard long slog

The list is too long to post, but the first thing was during McCalls first closed season being told he was upsetting many ( and ultimately everyone) at the club, taking the piss out of sponcors with his attitude, and getting the club a bad name with regards transfer deals, many said he should be hard with his negotiating but he went further that that Im told, Peter Ridsdale saying he wouldn't do businees again with Rahic.
