Right so the game is on everyone.

The club won't mess people about. If it was a major doubt they would say and Stevenage fans setting off soon.

Massive game really, as we need the 3 points before 2 big away games.

That was Walsall match. Coldest Ive ever been at Valley Parade, and that includes standing on open Kop in 60s and 70s.

It's totally fine now mate over this way.

Yes it's cold but it's winter. The sky is blue and the game is on.

    Safe trip over!

Couldn't agree more. Coldest I've ever been at a football ground.

Everyone went into the concourses at half time never seen the ground so empty.

I feel tonight might give that game a run for its money!

    Hail snow and wind again.

I hope they postpone tbh, it’ll be about minus 75 and I can’t imagine we’ll be able to play any decent stuff in the conditions.

The worst scenario is if we start the game and within 5 minutes players are skidding on their backsides and ref calls it off!! No point in risking life and limb.

The weather's fine. You'd think we've never had a bit of wind or snow with the way people are going on.

Can't wait for the game

Look Fordy it's bloody cold. Can't we just call it off and play the game when it gets a bit warmer? Rather watch football from the 21 st century and not 19 O blob.

I remember my first training session here in estonia about fifteen years ago. Was January and about minus ten. Outside. I rocked up and everyone’s laughing at me. Couldn’t understand at first, until one of the Estonian lads said it’s cos I’m wearing shorts. I looked around and they are all in tracksuits, body warmers and bobble hats. I’ve never played football in long trousers before! Still don’t to this day (although these artificial pitches do burn a bit).

it freshens you up when it’s cold and miserable! Focus on the game and get it over and done with. The thought of a hot shower at the end of the match certainly makes you run faster. So I don’t think our lads will mind it too much. The fans however...

As I’ve alluded to, we play on Astro over here. Think I’ve only played on grass twice in the fifteen years I’ve been playing. Makes the surface a lot easier, and although it does freeze in parts, obviously it doesn’t cut up. I can see why if it does get cancelled because of the state of the pitch, but if it’s because it’s a bit cold and windy, then that’s a poor excuse.

And to give you some idea of what it’s like here, this is the national team playing in conditions that would have everyone staying indoors and panic purchasing beans :) Not even using an orange ball!
