If their lad had squared the ball, we’d have been saying the same about Connor Wood. But as it turned out, he made a superb tackle. I’d say the main reason they get dragged out of position, is because there’s multiple players bearing down on our goal with none of our midfield tracking back. One defender can’t cover three attackers.

I can’t see anything on club website or twitter about the conditions. I do think fans should be updated more total lack of information from the club.

Yes a lot of us have played sport and worked in severe conditions. My concern is lack of information from the club it's not just the pitch it's also surrounding areas.

Doubt a club like Stevenage would have travelled yesterday and fronted the cost of accommodation given the increased chance of a postponement. Would be amazed if theres no inspection at least. A patch of standing water in the corner of the pitch is enough for the referee to call it off these days, plus he'll take advice from the police, council and met office.
