Home v Stevenage - Tues Feb 11th

The BBC weather forecast and others is this. Sleet showers, 2c feels like -4c and a moderate wind. If we hadn’t had months worth of rain over the week end, it might be able to take it. They will have put the frost cover on last night, they really need to take it off to let it dry out properly but more wet either frozen or liquid is still coming down. Our pitch does not have the best drainage, so I am guessing there will be water on that pitch, and at 2c it will freeze.

 

They will until a ref says otherwise, but my guess is that Stevenage will be concerned and no doubt may insist that an inspection takes place, They will not want to make the journey if there is a chance that it will not go ahead.

 

They'll leave it as late as they can. Which is midday in my opinion.

There were a few times last season when we were the only game off. That was embarrassing.
Let’s hope it starts, and doesn’t get called off half way through.

Its snowing in HD8 currently, hopefully not in BD8. Fingers crossed its a win tonight to get the season back on track and then get the away form sorted over the next two Saturdays!

 

They have confirmed they are monitoring it, but game on for now.

Agree there Fordy we will have to see. If game is on it will be a poor crowd guit a lot will just give it a miss. It is very cold and hail falling in my sunshine valley.
