    It will be a brave fan who travels from Stevenage in this weather, and they have to travel back too. Come on @Fordy117@Fordy117 tell the midgets to sleep head to toe so that you can accommodate a few Stevenage fans until the weather improves.

    Thanks for the concern, Broncs. Yes quite unnerving, scanned on arrival, temperature checked every time I leave and return to hotel and we had to sign a hotel statement we hadn't been in China in last two weeks.
    Apparently the Associate Directors are talking of a Boardroom ban for me and my wife at the next home game.

    As a northerner myself I confess to finding it strange that several people have expressed a desire for the match to be off. One of the great strengths of the English game is we play in all kinds of conditions.

    Sometimes it is getting to VP. Not all of us live within walking distance or indeed a short journey. I guess like me, you must have to travel over 1400 feet above sea level to get to the ground, a different world.

    It's not about posturing, it's just really not that bad...

    If it weren't for the media hyping up this 'Storm Ciara' then I don't think many would care to notice, you'd just be thinking "it's a bit windy today"

    it is. It’s childish school ground posturing. “What’s up with you it’s not even cold!” While rapidly turning blue and developing frost bite.

    we’re all old enough to just admit it’s bloody freezing and no one actually wants to go watch football in horizontal rain, hail and snow.

    I don’t know how frequent the rain /sleet showers are occurring but taking into account how poor the playing surface is already and the storm at the weekend the surface can’t be great it wouldn’t be great travelling to Bradford for the match to be postponed or abandoned

    The big freeze of 1962-63 led to us playing 9 matches in April (including 3 in 4 days on 12, 13 & 15 April) and 6 in May, with the final match being on 17 May 1963.

    However, for the latest final match of the season you need to go back the 1946-47 season, when that winter's postponements resulted in our last match not taking place until 14 June 1947. I believe that is the only competitive match we have ever played in June.

    Agree mate. People like @Keefly Bantam@Keefly Bantam always moaning about the weather. This game was never ever going to be called off. I have played in a lot worse than this.

    I know it might never happen but people moaning about this weather and the pitch etc for me it would be a reason for us to consider moving for VP if we ever got the chance because it's clear people will always moan about these things even if we built a stadium in their back garden..

    It's Bradford, it's winter- it's going to be cold!
