    City do this every time we postpone a game. Spend all day saying it’s going ahead as scheduled, and then have an inspection and call it off an hour before kick off and then wonder why everyone’s angry about it.

    Why didn't they call this off yesterday? They could see the forecast. If it does get called off then people have a right to blame the club imo.

    Yeah but if they was going to be a pitch inspection the club would know. I don't believe that they is one so late now considering how far Stevenage are travelling from.

    Nothing on the club website or twitter to suggest an inspection is going to talk place at 6pm.

    Dont think it's just City Macclesfield did it when there ground was badly flooded. Have seen Carlisle website today they are saying the same as City monitoring the situation.

    Every club has to say it as I’m pretty sure they don’t have the power to postpone games, but some still strangely blame them.

    Well unless you’re Bolton obviously.

    The referee is the one who’s doing it and he arrives at the ground not long before 6, hence the late inspection.

    Queensbury! Lol. More seriously when I posted that I was halfway down Manchester Rd. I've been out and about (passenger in car) and it's very changeable. One moment it's sunny, the next dark clouds and then the snow flurry comes in.

    I wouldn’t have thought twice about it a few years a go but I am in my seventies now and it’s tiring enough night driving on the 64 as it is. I have been deliberating all day because I hate missing home matches but with a little push from her indoors it’s I follow for me. Hope it’s decent coverage
