Personally I think the idea of having high ranking, successful business men help run your club, and paying the club for the honour of doing so, is pure genius.

 

Ok, when Rupp hired Sparks as CEO you knew this club was done! From Twitter boy to CEO in 18 months it’s clear the owner wasn’t bothered. So when people say the Jan transfer window will change things then they really need to understand that our owner really isn’t interested and if he’s not interested then it’s highly unlikely we will spend the money we need to get us where we need to be.

@Mike Hunt @Faithful Bantam yourself and others said in the summer we needed to spend to get a quality signing in. Say a 200k forward and thinks would be different for this club right now but no we still have the crap Gilliead starting week in, week out for us. Our owner isn’t to be seen or heard from. What kind of CEO allows the manager not to sign better than we have at the start of the season knowing full well the owner doesn’t give a damn?

Adams is what the club needs but the lack of direction from the top is allowing Adams who isn’t getting results to bully through the club changing everything even when it doesn’t make sense.

The club is a mess.

 

I think we are two good signings away from getting promoted, I just hope Rupp who I can’t stand and I equally think like you is a total shit bag of an owner just gets some change out in Jan and gets what Adams needs.

Recruitment in the summer wasn't great, but where is exactly is the club a mess. Expecting an owner, at this level, to pour money into a club only brings one thing - a points penalty for exceeding ffp regulations like Derby and Reading.

 

How do you know that we haven't enquired about loan players but nothing suitable was on offer.

I can't recall their lad up front who you extol being all that good. What stood out for you in his play in the first half that made you say Wow look at him he is on loan from Spurs.

To be fair didn't realize that Yann drew blood, Etete is one of their leading scorers so him not on the field in the second half probably helped City.
Finn was lucky the ref/linesman didn't see his lunge and i thought Gillead had every right to go for a 50-50 ball and it certainly got lively afterwards.

Always interesting to hear the views of the opposition, the referee and officials were poor yesterday but I didn’t think any of the challenges he points out in his interview were red cards. Flailing arms are part of the game, the FCD challenge I thought was timed well, he kept his feet down and got the ball, the Gillihead challenge on the keeper from my seat looked fair.
We have to learn that the opposition are going to try and wind us up and use the crowd to change the mood in the stadium. Teams across the whole of this league will use every tactic to break up play and slow down the game. As a team I would like to see us not dragged down to this level, I also think it is sad that managers need to stoop to this level to gain an advantage.
