Cooke - most assists provided in league 2 about a month or two ago and chucked on the bench

Vernam - assisting and scoring and chucked on the bench

Sutton - the only one in the midfield with any energy, trying to press and run on behind the forwards - benched

Meanwhile Gilliead and Threlkeld are dreadful and keep their places.

The players will see it. They will see Gilliead and Threlkeld being awful. Some of them will be talking about it in their friendship groups and they'll be getting pissed off.

It's easy to say "they're professionals and should be getting on with things" but we're all professionals when we go to work and we get pissed off with a manager or leader and grumble and moan about it and have days when we can't be arsed. Footballers are no different.

What I'm seeing now is that stage when some players stop playing because they think the manager is about to be sacked. They're not playing for him anymore.

Look on the forum, there's a comment from their local radio presenter to one of the posters on here that they knew if they kept it to the odd goal Bradford have a habit of crumbling in the second half of games. Which is precisely what we did and what fans around us in the kop were worried about at half time today. It's a running joke now about unmotivating Adam's half time team talks must be.

 

He can sit there and blame who he want but the reason we lost that game was down to him and his negative tactics again we can all suss out what he’s about to do at ht so don’t you think oppo managers will think the same ???? We keep going for it on Saturday we probably win that game but we as usual get a lead and sit back waiting for the inevitable to happen these lads will make mistakes but come on don’t put them in a posistion knowing it’s gonna happen seriously we have any chance of going up then he’s got to go ............... what was it last week ??? We are now hunters......... did that team in the 2nd half look like a team of hunters ????

 

But them PL teams can see it out or are up against world class forwards we yesterday weren’t we’ve been doing this for most of the season so I cannot understand what makes yesterday any different ................ you could see what was coming and if he was pushing them players forward and they weren’t responding then why not change the system or change the players ??? He did neither he stands there and doesn’t react till it’s to late
I mean he was forced into the Vernam change but you know he would have left it till 70 minutes before doing a thing .......... why when we could all see the pattern of play from the 46th minute onwards

Honestly I want the guy to be a success I want to be made to look like a fool ........... but what came out at the forum and what’s going off now is making it hard to give him my support .......... we can all see the issues ex players can see it so why can’t he ????? Is he that arrogant that he’s simply unwilling to change his ideas for the greater good .........

 

All that is required is another win

 

It would appear that Adams favours af few formations as opposed to a fixed formation. I think we will see more variations on where people play as things progress
