We will play better than this and lose, The two subs did not work in our favor and were very poor in my opinion and could well have led to an equalizer or worse.
But we roll on and hopefully learnt

 

This will sound harsh because its based on a few very brief sub appearances, but I'm not sure what Stevens will bring.

 

I dont think anyone brought on with the clock running down can be judged on their performance especially a young player in a wide position.
For me we possibly have to give him a start and tweak the formation, but we know wingers are very hit and miss, Mark Marshall was our only recent example of a consistent wing play.

 

I'm with Dave above in that a few moments is hard to judge but... More the comments from Swindon fans when he left, with the minutes attained, that are the potential concern.

 

Yeah I'm certainly not writing him off, that would be massively unfair. Need to see more of him.

 

Hoddle also had some success, albeit not major trophies.

 

Stevens was only brought on yesterday to counter their change of tactics we hardly had the ball so we can’t judging on that.
If Clarke is injured we will get a better look at him then. On the other side I think Evans did a good job and topped it with an assist

 

Agree but, Fordy has a warped outlook on everything.

 

Appreciate I’m probably in a minority on this one but the commentary is biased, irritating, unbelievably non informative on the opposition.
So why are people saying Rayner’s ok??
He’s the COMMENTATOR!! He’s the professional who has all week to prepare, check the opposition stats, look at how they play etc, he’s the one responsible for the commentary!! AK is only on board to give his thoughts when prompted. Oh and squeal like a girl when we have a shot!!

 

My favourite is when he says 'dove' instead of 'dived'

 

Nowt like a good old "squeal" mate I've been known to have squeal myself over the years actually 4 squeals at Chelsea, 3 at Blackpool same season 2 at Wembley against Notts County, 3 more at Wembley against Northampton my squealing is endless .

Social media comments from Barrow fans not happy about how they played to get yellows and reds against us instead of getting on with the game. Physicality, good. But it's pretty negative to go for the cards. That having been said, I think Michael Jolley and his staff are a good enough team to keep them up.

Our match day commentary team are woeful.
Their knowledge of the opposing team in general is none discript.
If you want to know what to wear in winter or eat at half time then there the people to contact without a doubt.
Radio Leeds need to take a long hard look at the dynamic duo,that said Batman and Robin would probably do a better job.

 

Both 'dove' and 'dived' are correct simple past tense forms of 'to dive'. Dove is correct in the same way that 'drove/(drived)' is also correct.

True mate, but I was referring rather too subtly to his reputation (deserved or otherwise) for passing left and right more often than forward.

 

The Huddersfield Town and L***s commentaries are similarly biased and also contain a lot of shouting and screaming.
