I think you are being remarkably silly in accusing fans of bashing the club. Any organisation that is not open to constructive criticism or able to admit their errors is immature in a nutshell. We all support this club warts an all, but I personally cannot stand being lied too. Trying to have fans at both ends is something I would support but it has to be done properly with full consultation. I gather the manager wanted it to happen for this very important game, but bloody well say so and I am sure the fans will do their best to accommodate it. The communication has been awful, they need to do better.

 

I hope they gave you a rebate for messing you around.

Glancing through this thread, just makes me all the more determined to just keep the 2 tickets I bought at the bottom of the Kop on Monday evening. No way do I have any time or desire to get stuck in a telephone queue to try and swap them

The amount of stress this has caused normal innocent fans - without so much of an apology or even acknowledgement from Sparks & Co - is 100% going to leave a sour taste in a lot of mouths for years to come

On the plus side, at least it's only for 1 game, and the atmosphere should be fantastic

The line for me is when people suggest something that just isn't true - the Club didn't move the fans around because they misunderstand the rules. it was purely to get home fans in the TL dallas stand. I will admit the club should have made that clearer but heyho they only knew we were in the play offs after the fulltime whistle.

Because 2,440 is exactly 10% of our current capacity after segregation and closed areas.

Midland Road holds 4,500 people. We are giving them fractionally over half of the stand with 2,440 (54%). That brings them just over half way. Even with say 10 seats x 25 rows covered up for segregation all the way up to half of E block is more than 2,440. So why have they come to 2,440. Oh because that's 10% of the capacity adjusted for segregation.

 

It is utter bollocks. Salford 's chairmen could buy all the tickets for every game and then hand them back for re -sale. Would not touch his wealth.

either way the layout of the stands would be exactly the same. You’ve said so yourself. So I don’t understand how leaving 400 empty seats sorts anything. TL Dallas is still for home fans so what are you griping about?

the fact that the club want to sell all of the seats they can sell?

the away capacity was higher in a normal league game so I dont really understand what point you are trying to make.
