or are you really trying to suggest they give them blocks A-F but leaving empty seats free? which would be the exact same position we are in currently so I dont understand your point!

It was the seat honest lol. One of the reasons Sparks had them replaced, the ones in the bottom tier had been rotten for years.

 

Weren't you able to get enough seats for your group to sit in EXJ block as you also pay for a suite upgrade wouldn't it be the same as what we pay ?.

 

I've not missed your point. I have said move the Carlisle fans to Block A to E but only sell them 2,000 tickets. You don't have to sell them every seat. You just end up with an empty block in a stadium that won't be at capacity anyhow.

Carlisle aren't selling out their ground but they are still giving us the minimum required, Salford have never sold out and are giving Stockport the minimum required knowing they have never seen 4.5k fans of their own, ever.

 

I'm looking forward to seeing what new *@?$ up they've made while setting it up on the system.

All seats, even ones sold to season ticket holders, suddenly coming on sale?
Tickets for the Midland Road sections allocated to Carlisle coming on sale?

Might get myself a bag of popcorn ready for 6pm.

Do you think they might get round to fixing the leak in the Kop roof, that drips like water torture down the back of my neck every time it rains.

 

It did make me laugh when folk were questioning Sparks for replacing the bottom tiers of seats when the truth was they were more than likely the seats in the worst condition in the stadium.

 

Just sit in the lower kop like us fools and get fully wet every time it rains. Job done.

 

Apparently 14k sold, not sure if that includes Carlisle 2440. Either way not bad for a Sunday night match

 

On the contrary, I think Sparks is doing an excellent job as CEO. I have never criticised him before this occasion. However well he has done for the club this is a foul up in my honest opinion, based on my email correspondence with him.

 

Why would the club go down the route of giving the Bradford End to City fans knowing the allocation they are giving Carlisle would mean many in the Midland Road Stand move to other areas of the ground, the club's customers are it's fans who turn up in huge numbers every home game ( even accepting season tickets are fantastic value) why do you need to p!ss so many off for the sake of a few extra seats for Carlisle's fans ?.

Hard as nails thought, old kop, open to the worst winter could throw at you , crumbling concrete and ankle deep in piss in the toilets at the top.
How i miss those good old days.

Monies are pooled and given to the EFL. We are only feathing the pockets of the other teams.

Carlisle won't sell out their stadium to capacity so on that basis they could give us 1,200 behind the goal and 1,800 in the side stand and still have 14,500 tickets for themselves which they haven't got close to selling in decades.

If they wanted to maximise revenue they could give Carlisle the whole of Midland Road like we do for cup games if it was simply about maximising revenue.
