Brad Jones, who went on to win the Eredivisie with Feyenoord, then the Saudi Pro League with Al Nassr! He also won multiple cups with those clubs...
But in his brief spell here, he was dreadful.
Couldn't handle the pressure of the massive VP crowds, you see.

Know nothing about the lad but that doesn't mean very much tbf, but what I will say is I could never imagine ROD, Hornby or Bass to ever be considered as good enough to be 3rd choice for a Prem side, so hopefully that gives us a chance of him being an upgrade. Good luck to him and welcome.

Fantastic performance from Lewis today. He will already be on the radar for Championship clubs I would imagine.

I like the fact that no matter who interviews Harry Lewis you get a true honest opinion from him regarding the football aspect and his own feelings
He's not false and certainly doesn't use scripted replies enforced by the club.
What you see is what you get with Harry. That of course is my opinion others might think differently.
No matter what the future holds for him he certainly won't be forgotten he's everything a City Gent should be.Salty, Fools Gold, The Original EB and 8 others like this. -

We been held back by shite keepers for years and when you have a bad one it messes up the whole side.
finally, we have a good one. If we are talking about £100k I wouldn’t even pick up the phone to the bidding club. Think of all the points he’ll win you over a season. Could be ten points or so, easily, given we only win by narrow margins.

I am optimistic with this signing. Mark Hughes has seen for himself what the player brings and wants to sign him. He hasn't been sold to us by an over enthusiastic agent or on the basis of video highlights.
We moved quickly to sign him. It suggests he was high up on Hughes' target list.Foghornleghorn, Inspector, Mason Handshake and 5 others like this. -

signing of highly-rated Southampton goalkeeper Harry Lewis!
The 6ft 4ins stopper will arrive at the Utilita Energy Stadium on an initial two-year deal with the option to extend by a third season, when his contract with the Premier League side expires on July 1.
Prior to working under manager Mark Hughes on the south coast, Lewis made three Emirates FA Cup appearances for the Saints in 2017, keeping a clean sheet in a 1-0 third-round replay victory over Norwich City.
The 24-year-old then made 39 appearances on loan at Dundee United the following season, with 11 clean sheets helping the Tangerines to a third-placed Scottish Championship finish.
The Shrewsbury-born 'keeper has appeared on the Saints bench on four occasions in the top flight this term.
Lewis said: “I am delighted. I have had a walk around the stadium and you can see the size of the football club, and I am just so excited to get going. It is great to feel a part of it.
“It is an ambitious club and one that should not be in League Two. I am not interested in playing League Two football for years to come, and am really interested in this as a project. I want to be part of the team that gets it out of this division.
“The gaffer and I had a good few months working together at Southampton a few years ago so it has worked out quite nicely and led to this opportunity. He is a fantastic manager with great pedigree and I am looking forward to working with him more.
“I am in it for the long haul, am looking forward to getting on the pitch for Bradford City and am excited by where we can help this club go.”
Hughes said: “We are really pleased to have Harry with us. He is an outstanding goalkeeper who I know from my time at Southampton.
“We are getting an exceptional 'keeper who is really good in the fundamental areas, but his distribution with his feet is also very strong, which is something we like in a goalkeeper.
“We see him as a real coup and are delighted to be able to bring him to the club.”
Lewis will be sponsored by Keybury for the 2022/23 season, with his signing subject to the relevant EFL and FA clearances.

Watched the club's interview with Harry Lewis.
A player with a smile on his face and someone who genuinely comes across as a really nice guy with an ambition and passion to do well obviously high on his agenda.
Good Luck Harry with locating to the the area.
