Harry Lewis to Barnsley?

The trouble is the fans and probably the club have his value to the club and then there is the transfer market value which will be a lot different his value to us is greater than his market value. So I am sure he will be here when we kick off

 

I'm not sure there is a lot in it as Lewis is playing today, if there was a serious inquiry from Barnsley I would have expected him not to play in case he got injured.

 

Lewis wont be leaving for £50k.

Funny, i don't remember him making many howlers last season. Play off game one springs to mind and picking the ball up outside the area. The amount of top class saves on the other hand.....

He is a good footballer and will only get better. However I was hoping to keep him for at least another season. No player is irreplaceable. However he should not be let go without substantial recompense. £500k. Plus an excellent replacement or he stays. My only real concern if we don’t let him go even if he wants to stay is that he has had his head turned and that may impact his performances.

 

Since Rahic left his tenure has been better than L&Rs. In terms of budget and in terms of decisions. What would you be saying if Rupp had sold up to WAGMI? I bet you my last pound you would have still blamed rupp for selling instead of WAGMI for doing a poor job. BTW they were serious bidders who were asking the price Rupp wanted.

agreed Rahic caused Parky to leave and ultimately caused our relegation.. however Rupp also has to take some of the blame for standing by and doing nothing whilst his mate who “knew football” took us to league two. Grrrrrr thinking about this makes me sooo angry, we were within touching distance of the championship damn it!!!

anyway if we let Lewis go for anything less than a million then we’ve been lied to again and we’re not serious about promotion.

Disturbing incident after last night's game, a spectator tried to get at Lewis in an aggressive manner, report not clear whether Getafe or City fan.

City have turned down 2 bids for him and MH insists the deadline for allowing him to go for an acceptable bid has passed. Strange thing to say when the actual deadline is end of August.

I personally think he will be gone this summer, he didn't look on it last night and despite MH saying the speculation won't affect him, not so sure myself.

I hope we have a good replacement in mind.
