The result was a shambles. Prior to them scoring there was nothing in it and my son who is very critical (as he was at Uni or in London from 2012 to last year) was 'impressed' with several players Guy, Dieng, Wyke and Gilly.

Amazing how impatient we are with Grayson, given how long it took Parky to get us consistent

    Shows two things;
    1. All Chairman / Owners etc interfere at some stage. So can we perhaps become a bit calmer about our current owners
    2. Parky will be available in the summer

Were talking the likes of Poleon here @trevor@trevor you have to point him in the right direction or he'd be shooting in against Doyle.

Grayson will go to Bolton when they sack Parkinson, who will himself end up as the new Sunderland manager. You heard it here first

That game was absolutely cack, there was no "football", we hoofed them into submission and then waited for them to make mistakes, they did. Not for me.

I watched Pompey beat Wigan 2-1 a little earlier and it was one of the best games I'd seen this season. I enjoyed that TV game more than all Grayson's put together.

Didnt hear any post match interviews and I accept times have changed but could anyone think back in the day Matt Busby would have left Besty out if he was not one of the better trainers, or the likes of Stan Bowles, Tony Currie, being dismissed because they were not the best trainers.
The short time Gibson was on he gave their full back a hard time and I thought he was one of Walsalls better players, on his way to Leeds in June, just shows how the games moved on.

Yes but Jordan Gibson is no Georgie Best Bronco!!! He is just a kid who may have an attitude that he has already made it in the game. Maybe why Rangers released him?

Back on Grayson, this is the crux of it really. But to go further than that, if Grayson does leave then its another setback for the club who really need to be fully focused on the playing staff this summer. We can't afford for that to be delayed by another manager search.

I don't see us being able to get another manager of Grayson's calibre and suspect we'd end up having to consider the Alexander's, McCann's, Rosler's who have been cast off by our L1 rivals.

Well neither played him, Stuart had the choice early doors and still didn’t play him. I have not ignored anything both managers are saying the same thing. Do you honestly believe if this lad was showing up in training Stuart wouldn’t play him, give me a break! We were bereft of creative attacking players all through the season. I am not going to go on repeating myself. Have a look @Allotment Bantam@Allotment Bantam post for analysis of the young lad. I didn’t go last night, but my husband did, and I would trust his analysis of a player all day long. He said, he was bright fast, and looked a real live wire, made mistakes but you expect that with young players, and this is the interesting bit, he wasn’t sharp enough, now what does that tell you? He was more interested in Hawkes, now he did get excited about him, more comments about him please.

Sunderland’s problems run so deep I don’t think many managers could have turned their season around. If rumours of a £2m wage budget next season are true, then he might as well walk now because you need a miracle worker not a manager to work with that.

Your not wrong, most folk believe Shrewsbury are punching way above their weight this season & their alleged wage bill is £2.5m.
If we're looking at £2m were fooked, especially with some of the dross we've already got contracted for next season, who currently cant get near a starting slot in this current crap XI

Except the likes of Doyle, who half the crowd wanted replaced by Rouven before they actually saw him play are on £3k+ per week. And I’m totally confident that £2m would be bottom 5 wages. Here’s 15/16 wagebill courtesy of Swiss Ramble on Twitter.

I think that is probably the most likely scenario if Bolton get relegated but if they manage to stay up, I think Grayson would fancy it. He's a championship manager don't you know.;)

Lets not confuse league 1 with the two best teams in the premiership. Their supposed longball game is far and away removed from league 1 hoofball. Take our two respective managers this season. Both are known for trying to play football a certain way. one passing and one more direct longball. Ask fans of other clubs where they have been managers. As i mentioned before a Huddersfield fan i was talking to said exactly that this morning when i mentioned Grayson. Said he gets results but the football when he was at Huddersfield was route 1 longball. Nothing wrong with that, but thats Graysons MO and it will never change. Managers in league 1 do not play 2 styles of football.
