If Grayson thinks today's display was acceptable in any way then he should go, Lack of effort, no discipline or shape to the team it was dreadful to watch, If this is the best he can do we deserve better, I accept we have injuries to players and this would not be his first choice selection but by god he should be able to demonstrate the ability to motivate and drill them,
If this is the future of team Grayson then if he can not prove his ability to work with lower league players it is best he does it somewhere else, Today was a shambles

I might be in the minority here but I genuinely don’t think that there was a lack of effort or an attitude problem today, we were just poor.
When you think about the game we actually had the better chances we just fluffed them and Southend took theirs including a huge deflection.
The game turned when Poleon somehow inexplicably missed that sitter after their keeper had made a great save.

Maybe I’m just being too kind because I was at Blackpool (shudder).

Grayson confirmed on The Pulse that an overhaul is needed. So he knows it's not good enough.

It doesn't take Grayson's interview to confirm what we all know.
It's how , with what and by whom that is the crux of the matter

People make the mistake regularly of saying lack of effort when in fact we weren’t very good. Players such as Guy, Wyke and Bruenker always put the effort in and if Poleon puts that chance away we might see a different result. We were poor today but it wasn’t through lack of effort, just lack of talent.

Thought Grayson showed the kind of character we need is hauling that shite off after putting him on for Bruenker.
Poleon should wear a balaclava because he's stealing a wage at City.

Boring question and not my decision.

Is Steve Gerrard linked with the Rangers job? No Rangers fan would of picked him.

So, to answer your question. I don't know.

A manager that players attacking football, play exciting football, young and can work with the owners.

We were abysmal. Grayson blaming the ref for slowing the game down is like the pot calling the Kettle black. If Grayson had any dignity he would leave now. As at Sunderland he's demonstrated that he can't turn a poor team around. If he thinks the owners will back him with cash for next season then he's more delusional than I first thought.

But no one knows if they will back him, or anyone, with cash next season. I don't think you need to worry about Grayson next season

Sunderland’s problems run so deep I don’t think many managers could have turned their season around. If rumours of a £2m wage budget next season are true, then he might as well walk now because you need a miracle worker not a manager to work with that.

Your not wrong, most folk believe Shrewsbury are punching way above their weight this season & their alleged wage bill is £2.5m.
If we're looking at £2m were fooked, especially with some of the dross we've already got contracted for next season, who currently cant get near a starting slot in this current crap XI
