Reading that artical I would suggest all that has been said about players not being interested looks like its true when Grayson says if other managers ask about a player I will give a honest answer.
On reading that article and the video interview I hope the owners are prepared to back him finacially because if he walks (without another job lined up) I believe the fans resent unrest will be nothing in comparisons, over to you Edin & Stefan.

 

Bold statement from Grayson. He is setting out his conditions for staying, which is good. If we are to go with him we must set out ours as well, which may mean his salary and length of contract might be reduced. What is a concern to me is that he only ‘hopes’ to have talks with Edin in the next two weeks. No appointment has been pencilled in!! What is going on. Is a Edin in Germany indefinitely?

 

Not the training pitches as far as I am aware.

 

An honest answer may not help us move players on in the summer thus reducing the budget further

With only half a dozen or so games left I agree that comment might not do either the players or the club any good with regards moving them on, but as many have passed comment on lack of commitment ETC I certainly don't blame Grayson for making the comment.

 

Is it unfair to think that Grayson has now had enough time to make his assessments and that the board have seen enough of his work in order to make theirs? Get on with it. Probably a bit simplistic I know, but come on, ffs

The training pitches and facilities down at Rawdon Meadows are a joint venture with Woodhouse Grove although a seperate company, so they will need involving I would say, but compared with the Valley Parade pitch the Rawdon Meadow pitches are like Wembley.

Next season a new start I've all sorts of different guises for the training ground .

Well ambitious comes at a cost Park. He is saying how much (investment from owners may not get it back until much later if at all) do you believe. Saying we are ambitious for Bradford City but we only have one plan does not cut it, and especially as that plan has been found wanting. Also that has to be taken on board with any plan, goal posts are moving every season.

 

Nothing to do with plans it’s to do with money. Just to keep the same budget as last year will cost them over a million even after windfalls. People are very selective about quotes here’s one from Mason if season tickets are down it will affect the budget.

 

Yes I know Park, but unless we are extremely lucky that will not get us promoted. It is the owners business to progress their business as they have said on many occasions. I don’t think they have either understood or taken into account going forward, the goal post are changing. The landscape is changing. Now a business that does not plan for downturns in their income is a business that is going nowhere.

 

I very much doubt there will be any great change in fortunes, Dave. However, I think it's clear he already knows the bottlers and mischief makers.

 

However, he will need supporting by the board if he is to replace said bottlers and mischief makers, especially as some (if roumers are to be believed) will still be in contract.

 

Beat me to it. Too honest an answer on players could leave us lumbered. I would expect the normal lines to be spoken - 'An honest lad, but just not worked for him here' - 'Very committed, but lacks confidence.' ....... etc.
