Last night during one of the games "Black Lives Matter" was projected onto the screen to the right of the score.

 

Yeah, seen it, if it happens at City (and it will) I will just let out a groan and turn my back....

 

The GP approach intrigued me too. I admired those who chose to express themselves in a way that deviates from 'the norm'. Interesting that much of Lewis Hamilton's team chose to wear 'End Racism' T-Shirts rather than BLM. People taking a stand for what they believe in, and a message of anti-racism - I have no problem whatsoever with. My problems are:

1) This sense of compulsion around how everybody should think, act and speak. It's not even a case of 'you're not allowed to say that', its 'you HAVE to say this'.
2) The hypocritical and completely lop-sided portrayal of events in the media, which I think divide people more and more, and make the job of the Police - and other organisations, impossible.
3) Fuelled by 2, the misrepresentation of this issue, which depicts racism as a deep seated, institutionalized issue. Racism is abhorrent, but its a long way from being the biggest issue we have to deal with in this country. EVERYTHING is being racialized, there's a lack of directness about dealing with issues within black communities, that have nothing to do with racism.

The sense of tolerance has been lost. Its turned into virtue-signaling top trumps, and I worry about where it will lead.

 

s the driver was driving like a 2- hat , body cam footage showed everything was fine during the stop and the conversations afterwards . Just what are the Police frightened of ? .

The officers involved and mentiond in the Police statement said , the driver was accelerating then braking hard , he also travelled on the wrong side of the road twice . Now what sort of driving is that for a " young couple with a baby on board " ? . The Police body cams and subsequent statements confirmed this is why the vehicle was pulled over . ((% of the stab victims in London are black people being stabbed by black people , i understand why the Police are wary , what would happen if they turned round and refused to do stop and search ?. This is treading on very thin ice .

Nowhere in the article does is it state how many people are employed as Police Officers or PCSO’s in this country. It’s approximately 160,000. So the percentage of those with convictions is 0.001%

Just when you thought the fires had died down, here comes one the one trick pony herself, her only trick being to ignite the racism rows. Who in their right mind would be a police officer these days when your backbench MPs want to open you up at the slightest excuse. As long as the Labour party continue to employ vile race baiters like Dawn Butler i would neve vote for them again. But then with side kicks like Lammy and Shah i think the Conservatives are safe for a long time. Vile woman.
