Disgusting, but as you say - doesn't fit the narrative. The presenter asks 'why does no one intervene?'. Fear. Not necessarily fear of injury, but fear of being branded 'racist'. People feel unable to intervene whether that be physically or on the basis of simply offering opinion, but people are being shut down. Losing jobs, criminalized, attacked.

 

Either people are too damn stupid to see whats happening or the rule of fear like you allude to is working just like they wanted. Believe it or not the vast majority of this planet just wants to live and let live, unfortunately people we normally are able to kep at arms length are infecting our lives like a poisonous cancer. The world is a dangerous place right now, far more than it was before the killing of George Floyd. We thought the tragedy could have made the world a better place, its had the opposite effect.

 

Despite this, the players are still kneeling and wearing the logo in deference to them. Who will save us from this cultural revolution?

 

I still think that the voice of the masses is largely silent. Any politician or political party willing to stand for common sense, tolerance and equality - real equality - and who were brave enough to take a stand, would be rewarded many times over. It could be the making of a truly, one every generation leader.
