Just listening to the coverage on LBC, you'd think London had been over run with right wing protesters and that the city was in ruins. I've delat with bigger kick offs when was i working on the doors, i've seen far worse trouble at football matches. Just to add some balance. There has been less than a handful of skirmishes so far, its just the same coverage of an earlier scuffle over and over again, exactly what the media did with the relatively peaceful black lives matter protests. Although again, you wouldn't have thought so judging by the media coverage. The media are a cancer with their bullshit coverage.

 

The government had an ideal chance to stop mass gathering of people it was called "social distancing" but they didn't clamp down on mass gathering, once the other element saw what was happening it was always going to be a matter of a counter protest.

 

@brisbanebantams , can you name me any country in the world that hasen't got a dark history ?. Talking about things that nobody alive today has been guilty of, but having to feel blame , your mention of right wing thugs on the streets of London fails to reflect the numbers of ex servicemen of all race creed and colour standing guard over the war memorials .

All democratic countries give you the right to peaceful protest , nothing wrong with that . It's when violence flares that the intervention starts .

 

They should stand for parliament if they wish to protest for change, not be full time anarchists protesting for protestings sake...black or white I don't care..

By your mention of "Football lads" and their " treatment " of the Police , could you care to reflect on the " peaceful " protests in Bristol and London that over 60 police recieved injuries with no " football lads " in attendence ?, or pehaps the horses injured or 1 policewomen unsaddled and the horse stampeded after a bike was thrown at them ?, again no " football lads " present . Was the statue in Poole of Baden Powell surrounded by ex cubs - scouts and shoppers to prevent its removal or damage contain it's quota of " football lads " ?.
