One thing that seems to have escaped them is that BLM cancelled their main protest today to avoid violence. So they're literally defending the statues from nobody

 

unfortunately, the majority play to their target audience. until CV19 it was unthinkable for the daily mail or telegraph to aim any shots at the Cons & Unionists party.

Thats not the term the press have been using unfortunately, Radio 2 even said football 'supporters' were at todays protests, which being a football supporter myself, i strongly object to.

Totally agree , Violence solves nothing . Most wars and strife through history were solved not on the battlefield but by negotiated peace treaties . My idea would be a total ban on protesting for say 1 month , take the undoubted heat out of the situation , then sit down and have a educated enquiry and concensus opinion on the way forward . Civil liberties groups would no doubt object , but at presaent i really fear for the future of the UK , not so much for myself i'm too old to have an opinion but i fear for the kids and grandkids of all comunities involved . ,

 

Journalism is the new in thing with govt atm. look how many in top jobs are ex journalists, won't happen for a long while if ever sadly.

 

The trap was set earlier in the week by media hype and the goons walked right into it. My spider senses tell me it wasn't even bona fide protesters that attacked Churchills monument. I'm more inclined to believe it was a hidden agenda at work designed to get the very reaction we've seen today. And they didn't disappoint. The 'football lads' have been mugged right off.

The optimist in me says I hope at the very least some of the protests have allowed people to blow off some steam and anger on what is a very emotionally charged issue, with the police brutality issue being especially so for people of colour. Again possibly optimistically, if the idiot media chill out for a hot second cooler heads might start to prevail and hammer out some practical and workable solutions for change we can all support.

wouldn't surprise me at all, agitators at protests isn't an alien phenomenon to this country. And as you say it's worked pretty much perfectly if so.

 

My only issue with blaming anarchists in particular is that by their very nature they aren't an organised group. They're averse to authority in any form so banding together in a group with a hierarchical structure would be anathema to them.

 

You've hit the nail on the head with this statement , most of the "commentators " on todays MSM have university backgrounds are from middle / upperclass backgrounds and no conception of the lives of the majority of peoples in the UK . The politicians on all sides of the political spectrum come from the same backgrounds , with a few notable exceptions they all sing from the same sheet . A full and very frank enquiry is required , i E- mailed the BBC last week, i had been watching a debate about the lack of chances of the BAME have in every day life , this is the same period another white upperclass male had been appointed to head the BBC , he replaced the last white upperclass male who retired . I asked them for a breakdown of BAME people who applied for this role and how many BAME executives and producers they have . The silence was deafening .

 

Somebody must be organising them , they seem to latch on to any protest and cause mayem , and it's a worldwide problem . The name of Soros often pops up , not saying for 1 minute it is him , but somebody is funding them . I presume a lot of the propoganda for both sides is available on the " dark web " .
